China is a large fishery country with lotsof fishing boats.Trawlers are widely used becauseof their widely application and large amountoffishing. But they consume a lot of fueloiland createserious pollution. At present, with the decreasing of fossil energy and higher environmental regulations, itbecomesurgentto improving marine power system.Trawlersalso need to be improved.LNG is a clean and effective energywith higher caloricityand lower pollution.LNG can improve trawlers emission and economicwith enough dynamic. This paper is mainly concerned withtrawler single fuel LNG power system. The engine model was established and analysedby Forte software. This article analyzed LNG enginecylinder combustion performance with different compression ratio, inlet temperature and excess air coefficient, and analyzedthe utilization of LNG cold energy. The results are shown below:(1)When the compression ratio is 13:1,the cylinder pressure rising ratio is too high and detonation is possible, which is not conducive to the cylinder combustion and affects the engine capacity.(2)With the inlet temperature increasing, the cylinder average temperature increases, but the peak value of the cylinder average pressure decreases, and thecylinder combustion speed increases.(3)With the increasing of excess air coefficient, the rate of cylinder heat release decreases, and the main combustion time increases, which is conducive to cylinder combustion and heatrelease. When the excess air coefficient is 1.8,the fuel concentration is too low to combustion.(4)LNG can release great cold energy when it released from storage tank to cylinder. This paper designed and analyzed thecold energy utilization system. When the working flow of LNG is 234Kg/h,it can generate an additional 13.7kw of electricity and 21.03 kw of cooling capacity. The economic value is obvious.
