Study On The Development Of Forestry Industry In Shuangpai County

As a green and prosperous industry and real economy with great development potential,forestry industry plays an important role in steady growth,adjusting structure,protecting employment and benefiting people's livelihood.Forestry is the base of shuangpai county,the source of strong county and the pillar industry of increasing farmers'income.Forestry plays an irreplaceable role in the development of shuangpai economy and society.The forest coverage rate of Shuangpai County is 80.55%,and the forestry resources are abundant,with more than 20 species of national first and second class protected plants,and nearly 20 species of national first and second class wild animals,which are the national greening model counties,the top ten forestry counties in Hunan Province and one of the 22 key forest areas in the south of the country.Based on resource endowment theory,scale economy theory,ecological economy theory and industry development theory,and combining with field investigation,this paper makes a study on the development of forestry industry in shuangpai county by consulting the statistics bulletin and yearbook of social and economic development of shuangpai county.Mainly focus on the following aspects of research:(1)Shuangpai County forestry industry structure and development status;(2)Shuangpai County forestry industry to promote local social and economic development results and problems analysis;(3)Shuangpai County forestry industry development advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges.Through extensive literature review,on-the-spot investigation and interviews and data analysis,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)Shuangpai County has the resource endowment to develop forestry industry,and in recent years the output value of forestry industry has accounted for an average of 23.6%in the national economy of Shuangpai County.
