With the development of economy, people's requirements for urban plant landscape are gradually improved. At the same time, the new concepts such as urban forest, ecological garden and landscape ecology make more people attach importance to the greening of the environment. As known as the"mother of the world's gardens",China has vast land and fairly rich natural plant resources. However, there are relatively few plant species used in urban landscape.A large number of wild plant resources for ornamental use are not yet to be developed and utilized. Therefore, developing and using wild ornamental plant resources is of great significance for enriching the types of landscape plants in Beijing and shaping the landscape with Beijing local characteristics.Based on a large amount of literature collection and collation, this study introduced and cultivated wild plant resources with underlying ornamental value. At the same time, this study established the rapid propagation system of tissue culture of Hypericum patulum and Clematis Parisienne'Evipo019'?Giselle'Evipo051'.This result provided the basis for further domestication and promotion. The main results are as follows:1.This study introduced 86 species of plants from Hebei,Shanxi,Yunnan,Inner Mongolia,Xinjiang and Tibet. After two years of introduction and cultivation experiments,9 species of new excellent mountain ornamental plants suitable for planting in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei were selected preliminarily. They were Lysimachia barystachys,Anemone vitifolia,Aconitum kusnezoffii,Allium mongolicum,A.ramosum,Dracocephalum rupestre,Rubus crataegifolius,Potentilla fruticosa and Hypericum patulum. They would enrich the plant materials of landscape greening in Beijing area.2.A rapid propagation system of tissue culture was established for Hypericum patulum with stem segment as explants. At the same time, this study explored the effects of different growth regulators on tissue culture and rapid propagation. The results shew that in initial stage, the optimal medium was MS+6-BA 2.0 mg/L+NAA 0.1 mg/L+sucrose 30.0 g/L+agar 5.0 g/L,and the induction rate was 90%;the optimal proliferation medium was MS+6-BA 1.0 mg/L+NAA 0.1 mg/L+GA3 0.1 mg/L,the multiplication factor could be up to 5.12;the optimal rooting medium was 1/2 MS+IBA 0.5 mg/L+AC 0.1 g/L,with a 96.69%rooting rate.In this medium, the average rooting number was 5.82,the average plant height was 92.17mm,and the root development was healthy and complete. After the tissue cultured, the seedlings were transplanted to the matrix composed of turfy soil and perlite?2:1?,the survival rate was more than 95%.3.Using stem segments of as explants, the rapid propagation system of tissue culture for Clematis parisienne'Evipo019'?giselle'Evipo051'was established. It provided a reference for tissue culture of Clematis parisienne'Evipo019'?giselle'Evipo051'and breeding improved varieties. The results shew that the optimal medium for shoot multiplication was 1/2DKW+TDZ 0.1 mg/L+GA30.1 mg/L+6-BA 0.5 mg/L,and the multiplication coefficient could reach to 5.90.Rooting medium formula was 1/2 DKW+6-BA 0.2mg/L+GA3 0.1mg/L+IBA1.0mg/L,and rooting rate was the highest in this medium,up to 86.33%.At this time, the induced roots were thicker and stronger, the tissue culture seedlings grew well, and the leaves were dark green. Then the seedlings were transplanted to the matrix composed of turfy soil and perlite?2:1?,the survival rate could reach to 86.81%.
