Agronomy is one of the traditional sciences in ancient China.Many valuable agronomy books have been left in China since ancient times.During the Ming dynasty,China's agricultural development reached its peak,and the prosperity of agriculture promoted the prosperity of agronomy.As an agricultural economy developed in the south of the Yangtze river,a lot of local farmers emerged.Such as<shen shi nong book>,<bian min tu zuan>,<tree and livestock department>and so on.The emergence of a large number of local agricultural books in jiangnan region is inseparable from the prosperity of agriculture,the progress of printing and the influence of heavy farming ideology and other social and cultural factors.Most of the agricultural books in jiangnan region are mainly about agricultural technology with strong practicability,involving crop cultivation technology,sericulture technology,fertilization and manure field technology,farmland water conservancy technology,fishery breeding technology,etc.,covering planting industry,animal husbandry,fishery and other aspects.However,his ideology is a little weak,except<shen shi nong shu>which involves the management of agriculture,other books are not involved.Generally speaking,the agricultural books in jiangnan region of the Ming dynasty were mainly about agricultural production technology,with many kinds and uneven quality.
