In order to explore a set of mature planting,harvesting,processing and modulation strategies of sorghum-sudangrass hybird,and provide theoretical basis and technical guidance for the application of sorghum-sudangrass hybird in Tumert area of Inner Mongolia.The related research was carried out with 5 varieties of sorghum-sudangrass hybird such as Jicao 2,Jicao 6,Jicao 8,JC-008 and JC-009 as research materials.Through a comprehensive analysis of the adaptability of various varieties,the effects of different cutting techniques on yield and nutritional components,the effects of different additives and different fermentation days on the fermentation quality,microbial quantity and nutritional quality of sorghum-sudangrass hybird,and the differences of hay and silage modulation techniques on the nutritional preservation rate of sorghum-sudangrass hybird,the following conclusions are drawn:1.JC008 is the most adaptable variety in Baotou area.2.cutting according to height,but the yield is low,which is more suitable for direct green feeding after cutting,among which cutting according to 130 cm height is more suitable;cutting according to growth period,forage yield is high,but the quality is decreased,and silage and hay can be modulated,among which cutting is more suitable in milk ripening period.3.Add lactic acid bacteria and sucrose mixture accelerant,To make the best quality of sorghum-sudangrass hybird ensiling.Is 60 days,which is suitable for the days of silage fermentation of sorghum-sudangrass hybird.4.the silage,the storage rate of other digestible nutrients except WSC was higher than that of the modulated hay,but the modulated hay could not only preserve the WSC well,but also completely remove the hydrocyanic acid in the sorghum-sudangrass hybird.
