Schizonepeta(Nepeta Cataria L.),a member of the family labiatae,Schizonepeta,and the dry aerial parts of Schizonepeta Tenuifolia,is one of the Chinese herbs.And widely used as a drug in China,Japan,South Korea and Southeast Asia and other countries.It can suppress phlegm,cold wind and cool blood.For the flu,headaches,fever,sweating,vomiting.In addition to being widely used in medicine,Schizonnepeta Tenuifolia can also do soil and water conservation,landscaping,flowers and potted plants,both to purify the air and beautify the environment.Therefore,the plant has high utilization value and is suitable for popularization and application.In this paper,four factors and four levels of orthogonal experiment L16(44)were used to shoot cutting of Schizonepeta Tenuifolia.A total of 16 trials were conducted with 3 replications per trial.The four factors of orthogonal test were culture medium,soaking time of rooting powder,concentration of rooting powder and branch position of Schizonepeta Tenuifolia.After several months of observation,the rooting rate,the rate of root tuber formation,the root morphology including root length and root dry weight were studied under different treatment conditions.The following results can be obtained from data processing and analysis:(1)from the angle of rooting rate,the optimum combination of every factor and level of every factor was A4B1C1D4.From the point of view of group formation rate,the optimum combination of every factor and every factor level was A4B1C3D4.From the angle of rooting number,A3B3C3D2 was the best combination of every factor and every factor level in the shoot cutting test.From the angle of taproot length,the optimum combination of every factor and every factor level in shoot cutting test was A3B2C2D2.From the angle of root dry weight,the optimum combination of every factor and every factor level was A1B2C3D2.From the angle of above-ground biomass(dry weight),the optimum combination of every factor and every factor level was A2B4C3D2.From the angle of fresh weight of root,the optimum combination of factors and levels in cutting test was A1B1C3D4.(2)the optimum combination of A3B2C3D2 was obtained by means of multi-factor analysis,that is,the ratio of peat soil to Perlite was 3:7 in the Matrix,and the position of shoot was in the middle and upper part,when the cuttings were immersed in 500 PPM solution for 10 Min,the rooting rate,the rate of root tuber formation,the number of rooting,the length of taproot,the dry weight of root,the biomass(dry weight)and the fresh weight index of root reached relatively high level.
