Experimental Study On Influencing Factors Of Softwood Cutting Of Osteospermum Ecklonis

With the increasing shortage of water resources in the world and the need to create biodiversity in garden cities,the introduction and cultivation of new plant varieties with good ornamental,strong resistance and simple maintenance and management have become an important research direction in the flower industry,TAGETES ERECTA is a new popular flower variety in recent years,and it is a rare germplasm resource for domestic gardens.In this paper,the TAGETES ERECTA,South Africa was studied from four aspects:Factor A(cuttage substrate),factor B(rooting powder soaking time),factor C(rooting powder concentration)and factor D(cuttage length),four different levels of each factor were selected for the study of softwood cutting propagation technology to provide the experimental basis for expanding the range of breeding seedlings.The main findings are as follows:The most influential factors of rooting rate were C,the most influential factors of cluster rate were C,the most influential factors of root length were B,the most influential factors of root number were B,and the most influential factors of root fresh weight were A,the most influential factor of fresh weight of aboveground part is B,the most influential factor of dry weight of root is a,the most influential factor of dry weight of aboveground part is B,and the most influential factor of root effect index is D.The best combination of rooting rate was A1B2C3D4,the best combination of cluster rate was A1B2C3D3,the best combination of root length was A1B2C1D2,the best combination of root number was A2B4C2D2,the best combination of root fresh weight was A1B2C3D4,and the best combination of shoot fresh weight was A1B4C1D2,the best combination of root dry weight was A1B2C2D2,the best combination of aboveground dry weight was A2B4C1D2,and the best combination of root effect index was A1B2C2D2.The optimum combination level of multi-index comprehensive selection for the tender branch cuttings of Marigold is A1B2C3D2,that is,the culture medium is Perlite,peat soil is 5:5,the concentration of rooting powder is 500 PPM,the time of soaking rooting powder solution is 20 min;The optimum horizontal combination of factors is the length of the cuttings of 8 cm.
