A Study On The Preparation Of Artificial Colostrum And It's Feeding Effect On Newborn Lamb

This experiment is conducted to test the nutritional composition of the colostrum of the small-tailed Han sheep ewe and to analyze the dynamic changes of these milk composition.And then,it is extracted a large amount of Immunoglobulin G from fresh sheep blood which is as the raw material by the ammonium sulfate precipitation method through precipitation separation,dialysis,Freeze-dried and other steps.Finally,exogenous sheep blood IgG was used as the core immune component to prepare lamb artificial colostrum and fed to Du Han hybrid newborn lamb to explore its feeding effect.The results showed that:(1)The concentration of nutrients(dry matter,fat,protein,immunoglobulin)in colostrum of small-tailed Han sheep is better than that of normal milk,but as time goes on,its content gradually decreases until it is equivalent to normal milk.(2)The method of ammonium sulfate precipitation combined with dialysis is used to extract sheep plasma immunoglobulin G.The extraction rate can reach more than 1%,and the optimal centrifugation conditions for repeated purification are 6000r/min and 20min.However,its potency and purity are affected by experimental conditions.(3)From the perspective of morbidity and mortality of lambs,the feeding effect of free-feeding lambs is better than that of artificial colostrum and milk groups.From the perspective of birth weight and daily weight gain of newborn lambs,the feeding effect of the artificial colostrum group is better than that of the free-feeding group and the milk group.Artificial colostrum can improve the lamb's immunity and achieve a good feeding effect.Under certain conditions,it can cooperate with or even replace the sheep's colostrum to provide early passive immunity for the lamb.
