With the increasing intensity of cultivated land protection and the implementation of the strategy of rural revitalization, guiding rural areas to operate on an appropriate scale and promoting the development of agricultural modernization has become a key task in rural areas, and it has also attracted many scholars' attention to the problem of land transfer. The current research on cultivated land fragmentation is mainly based on landscape fragmentation or overall concept fragmentation. There is no distinction between the internal components of cultivated land fragmentation, and there is a lack of research on the fragmentation of cultivated land ownership.Although studies have confirmed that the fragmentation of cultivated land landscape has a negative impact on land transfer, few studies have explored the relationship between fragmentation of cultivated land ownership and land transfer. At the same time, the current research scale is relatively single, mainly focusing on the analysis of the influencing factors of land transfer behavior at a single point in time, and it cannot reflect the time change of farmer transfer behavior. In view of this, this study takes the impact mechanism of land fragmentation and land transfer as the research content, and studies the impact mechanism of land fragmentation on land transfer decision-making and land transfer efficiency from the perspectives of a single time point and time series.Paying attention to the current situation of farmers 'transfer behavior,time-series study focuses on the changes of farmers' transfer behavior. This paper uses the survey data of farm households at three time points in 2015,2017,and 2019 from the “Chinese Rural Households Panel Survey(CRHPS)” of Zhejiang University and selects the number of farmland plots and the average plot area to measure the level of farmland ownership.Additionally, the paper investigates the impact of farmland ownership fine-grained on a single point of time farmers 'behavior and time-series changes in farmers' behavior and level through the logistic model, multiple linear regression model and other quantitative analysis models. The results show that the fragmentation of cultivated land ownership has an impact on land transfer, but it has different impact methods at a single point in time and time series, and it also affects the land transfer decision and land transfer efficiency in different ways. The level of fragmentation of cultivated land expressed by the number of cultivated land and the average land area has a negative impact on the decision-making of farmers 'turnover at a single point in time, but has no significant effect on the change of the decision-making of farmers' turnover;it has a significant positive effect on the efficiency of the conversion of farmers. It has a significant negative impact, however,on the change of rural household turnover efficiency.Existing research is mainly based on a single point of time analysis, but due to the particularity of the survey sample and the differences in socioeconomic and policy arrangements at different points of time, the results of the impact mechanism of land transfer may be accidental. For the same farmer in the time series of transfer, the analysis of behavior changes can effectively reflect the impact of factors such as the fragmentation of cultivated land ownership and policy development on land transfer behavior, and has more practical guiding significance. This study greatly enriches the research content of cultivated land fragmentation. On the other hand,it expands the research dimension of land transfer problem, and clarifies the impact mechanism of ownership fragmentation in land transfer, combining a single time point with continuous time series. The research also provides a reference for the formulation and improvement of land transfer policies, and is of great significance for the implementation of cultivated land protection and food security.
