Study On The Application And Species Diversity Of Ornamental Plants In Nanning Garden Expo Park

The Garden and Horticulture Expo plays an increasingly important role in improving the quality of the urban environment and expanding the urban public space and greenland,while also promoting the construction of garden city and its industries development,and improving the construction of urban tourism infrastructure.By investigating the landscape plant resources and greening status in Nanning Garden Expo Park(NGEP),and analyzing the species composition and species diversity of the ornamental plants in this park,the characteristics of plant resources,application ways and the preferences are further summarized.The main results and conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)There were abundant plant species in the NGEP,with a total of 328 species from 205 genera of 91 families(including the subplants,the same below)in this study.The angiosperms were the main constituents of NGEP.The multi-specific and mid-specific family,the oligo-specific genera and mono-specific generand were rich and were the main source of flora in NGEP.(2)The geographic distribution types of the seed plants in NGEP were mainly tropical element characteristics.A small part belongs to the temperateelement characteristics.There were no Chinese endemic families and endemic genera in NGEP.(3)Shrubs and herbs were the main components of the plant community in NGEP.Secondly,tree species and vines.Among the tree species,most of the species were ornamental leaf and shape plants.Among the shrub species,most of them were ornamental flower and shape plants.Among the herbaceous plants,most of them were ornamental flower and shape plants.Among the vines,most of them were ornamental flower and leaf plants.The appearance of the community in the NGEP is based on the evergreen tree species and broad-leaved tree species.The overall appearance is evergreen,and the appearance of the plant community in the NGEP is dominated by broad-leaved forest.(4)The applications were mainly linear planting,greening,isolated planting,ground cover and flower borde,equipped with group planting,mass planting,flower hedges and hedges,etc.At the same time,a small amount of vertical greening and color block planting were added.(5)The species diversities in the tree layer were slightly larger than that in the shrub layer.The four blocks including Beimen District,Peninsula Woodland,Linglong Island and Health Garden were relatively similar,and the species diversity were relatively high.The three blocks of Nazunhe District,Dongmen District,and Bachijiang District were relatively similar,and the species diversity were relatively lower.(6)The woody species,arbor species,angiosperm species,dicotyledonousspecies,evergreen species,broad-leaved species,and ornamental foliage and flower species have been more fully applied.In contrast,herbaceous species,gymnosperm species,monocotyledonous species,deciduous species,coniferous species and ornamental fruit species have not yet been fully applied.This study could provide some reference for the garden departments and other public park to carry out garden greening,garden landscape configuration,fine management and ecological construction.
