Research On Wild Ornamental Plants In Foping National Nature Reserve,Shaanxi Province

The Foping National Nature Reserve in Shaanxi Province is located on the southern slope of the middle Qinling Mountains.It is located at the core of the Qinling Nature Reserve.It is rich in ornamental species.This study uses protected areas as research areas,through data review and field investigation(line survey).,typical sampling survey),plant specimen analysis systematic and comprehensive research on wild ornamental plant resources,aiming to provide data and information for the protection of wild ornamental plants in the protected area,the sustainable development of plant populations and ex situ.The main findings are as follows:(1)There are 383 species of 219 genera and 88 species of wild seed plants with ornamental value in the reserve,accounting for 66.7%,39.1% and 28.4% of the total number of seed plants,genera and species in the area.The ornamental plants in this area include 10 species of 3 genera and 8 genera of gymnosperms,62 species of 39 genera and 5 families of monocotyledons in angiosperms,and 338 species of 172 genera of 80 families and dicotyledons.The survey found that ornamental plants are mainly concentrated in Orchidaceae(23 genera),Rosaceae(16 genera),Leguminosae(10 genera),Ranunculaceae(10 genera),Labiatae(8 genera),Compositae(8 genera)There are 6 families and 75 genera,accounting for 6.81% and 34.24% of the total number of families and total genera,respectively.(2)The main ornamental plants in the protected area are divided into ornamental woody plants(36 families,60 genera and 95 species),herbaceous plants(42 families,111 genera and 155 species),and climbing plants(11 families,13 genera and 14 species).Bamboo plants(1 family,4 genera and 7 species),4 major categories.(3)Ornamental plants in protected areas,there are 18 families,30 genera and 46 species in accordance with garden use,12 families,18 genera and 24 species of street trees,11 families,13 genera and 14 species of vertical green plants,9 families and 12 genera of green grass plants.18 species,ground cover plants,15 families,22 genera and 28 species,flower beds,22 families,30 genera and 39 species.
