Benefit Evaluation And Influencing Factors Analysis Of Different Breeding Modes Of Meat Sheep In Minqin County

Minqin County is one of the major sheep-raising counties supported by Gansu Province.Due to the needs of ecological construction and the implementation of the national grazing ban policy,the breeding method has changed from stocking to house feeding.Meat sheep breeding gradually develops towards the direction of standardized scale production.At the same time,the government also vigorously promoted and introduced a series of policies to support the development of the meat sheep industry.Farmers actively participated and enterprises and cooperatives actively responded,creating development opportunities for the meat sheep industry.But the mutton sheep breeding model is mainly composed of small-scale free-range farmers,still less leading enterprises,raise sheep association,the establishment of cooperatives,such as transportation,feed and artificial the increased cost of mutton sheep breeding,makes the mutton sheep breeding farmers comprehensive income is declining.In view of this,combined with the actual situation in Minqin County,through the performance evaluation and analysis of the influencing factors of the meat sheep industry breeding model in Minqin County,we can understand the development status of the meat sheep industry breeding model in Minqin County and find out the advantages and disadvantages of different breeding models As well as the main factors affecting the development of the meat sheep industry breeding model,finally put forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of the meat sheep industry in Minqin County.Based on field research and literature review,this paper summarizes and analyzes the development status of Minqin mutton sheep industry and the existing major breeding modes.By following the principle of constructing the evaluation index system and drawing on the experience of previous researches,the paper selects 12 indicators to construct the performance evaluation system of Minqin county mutton sheep industry breeding mode.The analytic hierarchy process was used to calculate the weights of the selected indicators,and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to evaluate the performance of Minqin’s sheep breeding industry.According to the evaluation results,the performance of different mutton sheep breeding modes in Minqin county was compared and analyzed,and the following main conclusions were drawn: from the comparison results of economic performance,Free-range Breeding Model > Farming Community Model > Large-scale Farming Model;From the comparison results of social performance,Large-scale Farming Model > Farming Community Model > Free-range Breeding Model.From the comparison results of ecological performance,Large-scale Farming Model > Farming Community Model > Free-range Breeding Model;According to the comparison results of comprehensive performance,Farming Community Model > Large-scale Farming Model > Free-range Breeding Model.In addition,this article from the microcosmic perspective,the farmers based on the survey data of 245 mutton sheep farmers,using multivariate Logistic econometric models,from farmers family characteristics,mutton sheep farmers breed characteristics,mutton sheep breeding investment situation and government agencies to support four aspects analyzes the influence factors of mutton sheep industry cultivation mode.The results showed that the farmers cultural degree,sheep farming families having income,farming families having sheep is a lamb,lamb source,hours supply,farmers labor input,goats subsidies,the government information services,whether cooperative association is established on the breeding model significantly,the influence of Minqin county mutton sheep industry in the future in Minqin county mutton sheep breeding mode in the process of the development of these factors will play a very important role.Based on the analysis of the above results,it can be seen that in order to promote the development of Minqin county meat sheep industry,firstly,promote the construction of breeding communities and promote the standardized scale breeding of meat sheep industry.Second,promote the development of cooperatives and sheep raising associations to strengthen the market power of farmers;Third,develop leading industries and achieve industrial structure optimization and adjustment;Finally,the government should strengthen policy support and management,attach importance to environmental protection,and realize the harmonious economic and ecological development of meat sheep industry.
