Study On The Mongolian Breeding Of Sheep And Influencing Factors

As part of economic development,the sheep industry is gradually becoming a pillar of Mongolia’s economy.Thanks to the Mongolian unique climate change and geographical advantages.Mongolia has a good comparative advantage in the world’s animal husbandry,both in the scale of sheep breeding and the scale of mutton production.Although traditional animal husbandry can provide food for Mongolian people and raw materials for light industry,it cannot adapt to the current climate and global market conditions under the situation of global climate change.In recent years,the number of livestock in Mongolia has reached over 66 million,which not only improves the economic benefits,but also brings serious environmental problems.How to solve the problem of decreasing mutton production price,raising herdsman’s income and improving herdsman’s living standard are becoming the current problems in Mongolia.Therefore,it is of great significance to find out the main factors that restrict the mutton production in Mongolia and formulate the corresponding development strategy.Based on the detailed understanding of the current situation of mutton sheep breeding and export in Mongolia,this paper uses the latest data and information to analyze the advantages of mutton sheep breeding in Mongolia.Combined with the questionnaire,this paper analyzes the situation of mutton sheep breeding in Mongolia from the aspects of grassland productivity,natural ecology,breeding technology,education level of the breeders and product price.This paper is showing there are some problems in the production of mutton sheep in Mongolia,such as unreasonable utilization of natural resources,low production,processing and supply capacity,high cost,small scale and low level of technology,lack of macro control and no grade standard in the introduction of mutton sheep.And from the external factors and internal factors,this paper analyzes the problems of foreign trade in sheep breeding.Combined with the above analysis,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the national level,aquaculture enterprises and farmers,respectively:(1)strengthen the construction of fund support and market supervision mechanism,pay attention to the cultivation of mutton sheep varieties in Mongolia,pay attention to the balance of grass and animal husbandry,and increase infrastructure construction;(2)pay attention to the investment and construction of large-scale aquaculture,and increase the core competitiveness of aquaculture enterprises(3)increase the technical training for the farmers,and try to change the thinking consciousness of the farmers to some extent.
