Clinical Efficacy Of Modify Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction In Treating Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

Purpose:To observe the clinical effect of modify huangqi guizhi wuwu decoction in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)with Yang deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Methods:Select 40 cases of DPN patients accordding with the bringing in standard of this clinical research,all of them were given basic treatment:diabetes mellitus(DM)education,diet control,exercise therapy,reguleation of blood sugar,anti-oxidation and nutrition of nerve,regulation of blood pressure,blood lipid,etc.On the basis of the basic treatment,patients were given modify huangqi guizhi wuwu decoction for a course of 15 days.After the treatment,the changes of TCM syndromes integral,nerve conduction velocity,and Toronto clinical score were all analyzed by the method of self-contrast before and after treatment.Results:1.After the treatment,patients with TCM syndrome score was significantly lower than before treatment,it means to have a significant statistical significance(P<0.05),and the total effective rate was 80.0%.2.After the treatment,patients of sensory nerve conduction velocity and motor nerve conduction velocity were significantly increased,it means to have a significant statistical significance(P<0.05).3.After the treatment,Toronto clinical score was significantly lower than before treatment,it also means to have a significant statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Based on the basic treatment,addition of modify huangqi guizhi wuwu decoctioncan can reduce the syndromes of TCM syndromes of patients with deficiency of Yang deficiency and blood stasis types,and improve the clinical symptoms of TCM.2.Based on the basic treatment,addition of modify huangqi guizhi wuwu decoction can improve the nerve conduction velocity of patients with deficiency of Yang deficiency and blood stasis types,reduce the Toronto score and improve the clinical symptoms.
