The Correlation Of STAT3 With Primary ANCA Associated Vasculitis In Guang Xi Chinese Han Population

Objective To investigate the relationship between STAT3 rs2293152 and rs744166 gene polymorphisms with primary ANCA associated vasculitis in Guang Xi Chinese Han population.Methods The genotypes of 98 patients(case group)were initially identified by PCR-RFLP and then 213 healthy Guang Xi Chinese Han population with the age and gender being matched was defined as a control group.After that,case-control study?clinical and pathologic analysis were conducted.Results(1)The frequency distribution of STAT3 rs2293152 genotypes GG?GC and CC in AAV patients were 31.6%?45.9%?22.4%.Respectively,the controls were 37.6%?51.6%?10.8%.The frequencies of allele G and C in the AAVpatients were 54.5%?45.4%and the controls were 63.4%?36.6%.The case group's frequencies of CC genotype and C allele appeared were higher than the control group.All the differences were statistically significant.It was found that the significant difference in the arthralgia and it was more common in the CC genotype.The difference of CRP level was statistically significant and the level of GG genotype was higher than that of the other two genotypes.(2)No significant difference was found in the STAT3 rs744188 of neither genotype distribution nor allele frequencies between the patients and the controls(P>0.05).But there were significant differences in the incidence of hemoptysis and hematuria of the case group.The occurrence rate of hemoptysis in TT genotype was higher than that of TC and CC,and the incidence of hematuria in TC genotype was higher than that of TT and CC genotype.TC genotype pathological score AI,CI were higher than the TT,CC genotype,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion(1)The gene of STAT3 rs2293152's genetic polymorphism is common in Guang Xi Chinese Han population.(2)The Guang Xi Chinese Han population's gene polymorphism of STAT3 rs2293152 may be associated with genetic susceptibility to AAV patient.But limited to the size of the study,we're looking forward to the next research.(3)In the gene of STAT3 rs2293152,the frequency distribution of CC genotype and C allele may be associated with the incidence of arthralgia and CRP in patients with AAV patient.(4)The STAT3 rs744166's genetic polymorphisms are common among Guang Xi Han Chinese population,but may not be related to the genetic susceptibility of AAV patient.(5)The STAT3 rs744166's gene polymorphism may be related to the incidence of hemoptysis,hematuria and pathological score AI,CI among the AAV patient.
