Study On The Completing Date Of Huangdineijing From The Perspective Of Sociology Of Scientific Knowledge

Huangdi Neijing is the earliest comprehensive and systematic ancient Chinese medical book about ancient medical experience and theory.It has been regarded as a rule by the physicians.However,archaeological materials are lacking,and the book is not the original condition,because of the private copies during the process of dissemination.So the completing date and author of Huangdi Neijing have been debated over thousands of years without conclusions.There are a large number of vague and even contradictory contents in the book,which led to the Chinese medicine scholars holding their own opinions in later period.Thus,a firm paradigm has not established from beginning to end.The clarification of the book's completing date and author can provide basic conditions for the systematic study of Huangdi Neijing.Scholars speculated about the completing date of Huangdi Neijing from many angles and disciplines.More and more scholars believe that the book is not a work by one person,or written at once.The main content should be written in the early Western Han Dynasty,and then there is almost no breakthrough.One important reason is that there are limitations to the research methods on this issue.Through the analysis of the theoretical development background and ideas about the Sociology of Scientific Knowledge,we believe that it is feasible to study the completing time of Huangdi Neijing from the methods of SSK,and it can overcome the limitations of past research methods based on documentary textual research.This article takes the idea of "Use medical principles to explain the principles of governing the state"as a clue,and uses the "Qiheng Zhi Fu" as a breakthrough point to gradually analyze the political background and metaphor in Huangdi Neijing.We find that the book is not written by an ordinary person out of simple medical hobbies.It has complex official backgrounds and political considerations.Prince Rong Liu,son of Emperor Hanjing,wanted to use medical principles to put forward the method of governing the state.Through the political interpretations of "Qiheng Zhi Fu","comfortableness",and "heart is the most important part of a man",many contradictions in Huangdi Neijing have been explained,and some long-term clinical controversies in the history of medicine have been clarified.We can find the complex cultural environment of Huangdi Neijing by revealing the contents of Lu Shi Chun Qiu,Huai Nan Zi and Chun Qiu Fan Lu,which are books in the same period as Huangdi Neijing.The political environment is closely related to the cultural environment,so it can embody the complex political environment in which the Huangdi Neijing was located.Thus,We can find that the book has complex social elements and backgrounds,from the cultural and political environment.It is the complex political environment that caused the hidden writing techniques and difficult contents in Huangdi Neijing.
