Osteoarthritis(osteoarthritis OA)is a complex degenerative disease with severe disease. The incidence of osteoarthritis is relatively high in middle and old age.According to the characteristics of its disease, the joint motion is obstructed, losing flexibility, cartilage degeneration and joint deformation. It brings serious inconvenience to people's daily actions and lives. There are many treatments for this kind of diseases, but most of them are from the perspective of clinical medicine. The side effects are bigger and the pain to patients is more serious. With the continuous updating of modern medical theory and the continuous improvement of medical experiments,it is found that many physical therapies can also achieve the effect of treatment. As a traditional physiotherapy in Xinjiang area, vitamin D therapy combined with the local climatic conditions and geographical advantages of Xinjiang Turpan, which is the focus of our in-depth study.By embedding sand therapy,we studied the change rule of bone volume and the effect on bone remodeling experiment.Based on the temperature change and heat transfer during sand treatment,we explored the regulation of bone remodeling rate induced by temperature in the bone tissue. In this experiment, male New Zealand white rabbits were used as experimental subjects. The method of modeling is to injecting 3% papain into the articular cavity, resulting in articular cartilage degeneration and damage. The OA model was established for the treatment of sand burial. The CT scanning technology was used to scan the experimental model four times(establish OA model before and after each time, sand therapy one week and two weeks after each time). Then we import the experimental data into the medical imaging software mimics, and divide the bone layer and reconstruct the three-dimensional model. The changes of bone volume of the bone layer were observed.Subsequently, the model was imported into the COMSOL software for heat transfer simulation, and the heat distribution rule and the thermal stress change under different temperature conditions were observed. Finally,we get data from mechanical experiments. The results of CT scanning showed that the volume of soft bone graduallydecreased during sand therapy, while the amount of compact bone and hard bone increased. The change of hard bone indicates that bone mineral density is increasing and mechanical properties are improving. So sand therapy experiment has a good effect on bone remodeling behavior. From the results of finite element simulation,we can see that when the temperature is 42 degrees, the thermal stress generated by temperature is the largest. After that, the thermal stress value decreases with the increase of heat transfer temperature. It indicates that the bone remodeling rate reaches the peak at this temperature point, and the effect of bone reconstruction is the most obvious.
