Objective: In this study,by comparing the changes of heart rate in patients with hypertension and non-hypertensive patients by the treadmill exercise text to explore the characteristics of heart rate changes during exercise.Materials and Methods: This study retrospectively analyzed 141 patients who underwent treadmill exercise test at the First Hospital of China Medical University from July 2015 to January 2018,and were divided into the hypertension group and the Non-hypertensive group. The hypertension group consisted of 71 patients, including 24 with diabetes,34 with stable angina,28 with atherosclerosis and 70 with non-hypertension,including 21 with diabetes,26 with stable angina, and 19 with atherosclerosis.According to the level of hypertension,we divided them into hypertensive grade 1,2,3 group to compare the trend of heart rate changes in each stage during treadmill exercise text between different groups and the difference of heart rate in each group during the same period. All of the data were analyzed with SPSS21.0 software. If the measurement data in line with the normal distribution, mean ± standard deviation.Comparison between the two groups using the T test and comparison of multiple groups using one-way ANOVA,compared with each other between groups LSD test.Counting data using the chi-square test.Data at the same level between the groups using repeated measures of variance analysis.P <0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:(1)There was statistical difference between the two groups in the change of heart rate from the beginning to the first phase and the first phase to the second, when others were not.(2)In the hypertension group, there was significant statistical difference between the two groups in the change of heart rate from the first phase to the second, the second phase to the third, and third phase to the fourth.Others were not.(3)In the Non-hypertensive group, there was significant statistical difference between the two groups in the change of heart rate from the first phase to the third and the fourth.(4)There was significant difference between the 1st and 3rd levels of hypertension in the first phase among the subgroups(P <0.01),so was the 2nd and 3rd(P <0.05).Others were not.Conclusions:(1)In the first phase of exercise, the changes of heart rate in hypertensive group were significantly higher than those in non-hypertensive group, and the peak heart rate was significantly lower.(2)As the grade of hypertension increases, the heart rate changes gradually increase during the first phase of exercise, but the trend of changes of heart rate during exercise are roughly the same.
