ObjectiveThrough an empirical study of the infrastructure construction of medical and health institutions in Sichuan Province,we know about the status of infrastructure construction of medical and health institutions in Sichuan Province,analysis of the achievements and problems in the last ten years(2005~2015 years),put forward corresponding suggestions and perfect measures,thereby improve the construction efficiency and investment efficiency of infrastructure,and provide a reference for relevant decisions.MethodsKnow about the general situation,level and development trend of infrastructure construction in medical and health institutions by using document analysis to collect relevant data.Learn the relevant managers' effectiveness and experience from the infrastructure construction in sample areas by interview,so as to sum up the existing problems,difficulties and recommendations.Descriptive analysis method was used to analyze the land area,building area,housing base area,business room area of each sampling organization,and the evaluation of medical and health institutions by medical personnel and patients.ResultsEffectiveness of infrastructure construction:(1)The medical and health service system has been further improved.(2)Ameliorated the medical and health service conditions.(3)Improved the medical and health service environment and improved the satisfaction of both doctors and patients.(4)Promoted the improvement of medical service ability.(5)Accumulated experience for the construction of health infrastructure.Problems and difficulties(1)Lack of funds and scattered investment,and plan is not uniform.(2)The organization lacks the professional,and the trustee does not carry out the duty adequately,so the management is difficult.(3)The Prophase procedure is complicated and the preparation time is short.(4)the malignant competition phenomenon of low price winning is common.(5)Many factors lead to the construction of institutional infrastructure not up to the relevant standards.(6)The supporting facilities and equipment of grass-roots medical and health is insufficient.Suggestions(1)Broaden the sources of funds for infrastructure construction and scientifically coordinating the planning.(2)Strengthen the professional training and guidance to managers and enhance their management ability.(3)Improve the operation of management methods,optimize the workflow and make it transparent.(4)Strengthen the guarantee of infrastructure construction and improve the standard rate.(5)Increase the investment in supporting facilities in primary medical and health institutions to meet the needs of grass-roots personnel and work.
