Expression And Significance Of Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 In Endometrial Carcinoma

Objective:To investigate the expression and clinical significance of matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)in endometrial carcinoma tissues and adjacent tissues.Methods:Selected from July 2015 to July 2017,49 patients with endometrial cancer after surgical treatment at the First Clinical Medical College of Shanxi Medical University were enrolled for endometrial cancer tissue and adjacent tissue.Immunohistochemistry SP was used.Methods The expression of MMP-9 in endometrial carcinoma tissues and adjacent tissues was detected.The relationship between MMP-9 and clinicopathology was analyzed and its clinical significance was analyzed.Results:1.The expression of MMP-9 in endometrial carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than that in paratumor tissues.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).2.There was no significant correlation between the expression of MMP-9 in endometrial cancer tissues of patients of different ages,clinical stages and whether or not they were complicated by diabetes(P>0.05).However,the depth of myometrial invasion and histological differentiation were not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in the expression of lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).Conclusion:MMP-9 is highly expressed in endometrial cancer tissues and is closely related to the degree of differentiation,lymph node metastasis,and the depth of muscle infiltration.MMP-9 promotes the occurrence and development of endometrial cancer.
