Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Points On Governor Meridian On The Effect Of Treatment Of Epilepsy After Stroke

Objective:According to governor meridian different acupoint acupuncture and Western Medicine (sodium valproate)and acupuncture combined with western medicine compared to investigate the therapeutic effect of acupuncture points.Methods:This research accorded with the diagnostic criteria of age of epilepsy after stroke in 45 to 75 years old in 60 patients.Using the method of random number,60 patients were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group 30 cases and control group of 30 cases.Acupuncture point acupoint Baihui, Dazhui, Jinsuo with Shenmen, neiguan.For 30 minutes, once a day, six days for a course of treatment, between the rest of the day, five courses of acupuncture. Western medicine forvalproate, in the morning or in the morning, at noon 2 times a day, and even served 35 days for a course.Before and after treatment from the number of seizures, epilepsy score and efficacy,efficacy, quality of life of patients with Epilepsy.EEG scale to evaluate curative effect.Results:1.The number of seizures, in the treatment group were more significant effect within 3 months (P< 0.05), it has a better curative effect, significantly reduced the number ofattacks, the more long-term efficacy, the efficacy of the two groups tend to be the same.2.Epilepsy symptom score, both of two groups have curative effect (P< 0.05), can be seenfrom the average value of the efficacy of the treatment group than the control group, the effective rate of treatment group 90%, control group was 83.33%.3.The EEG of two groups of patients compared with the performance, both of two groups have curative effect (P< 0.05), but the efficacy of the two groups have differences (P< 0.05), in percentage terms, the efficacy of the treatment group than the control group. The effective rate of treatment group 90%, control group was 83.33%.4.The quality of life of patients with epilepsy scale showed in the treatment group were moresignificant effect within 3 months (P< 0.05), has a better therapeutic effect, in a more long-term efficacy, the efficacy of the two groups tend to be the same.Conclusions:1.Treatment of epilepsy after stroke with acupuncture on governor meridian western medicine has more effect than simple western medicine.2.The acupuncture points with western medicine than governor meridian simple western medicine can significantly reduce the number of attacks, improve the electroencephalogram.3.The acupuncture points with western medicine governor meridian than simple western medicine can significantly improve the quality of life of patients.
