Background of theoryAcute cerebrovascular disease belong to the category of TCM "stroke". After stroke appear many complications, but lung infection is most common. In 2003,at the university hospital cologne in Germany, Bilker conducted the prospective study of acute stroke patients'pneumonia rate and risk factors. No primary lung diseases called Stroke-associated pneumonia (SAP). SPA is acute lung infection of stroke patients. It is the most important reason of adverse outcomes and death. How to protect lung function and Reduce mortality what is important clinical subject.Cerebrovascular disease cause pulmonary edema, congestion and inflammation, what may be the most important reason. Antibiotics been treatmented SAP in western medicine, what is easy to resistance. Based on this starting point, Using TCM methods to alleviate pulmonary edema and congestion has the very good creative and practical. Acupuncture is common treatments of TCM. We do the intervention effects of research on acusector for Stroke-associated pneumonia. We want to provide theoretical basis of improving the curative effect.ObjectivesTo observe the rapeutic effect and mechanism of acasectoring on Dazhui andBaihui point to treatment SAP.MethodsAdult male SD rats were randomized into 3 groups into sham operation control group, model control group and acasectoring group. Two after group follow The model of cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury.Acasectoring group acasector on Dazhui and Baihui 0.5 cun every day in 7 day. Observating the breathing, WBC, lung tissue water content and pathologic examination.ResultAcasectoring could reduce breathing, Lung tissue water content and improve the pulmonary pathological lesions, beacouse model control group and acasectoring group show significant differences, P<0.01. Acasectoring could not reduce WBC, beacouse model control group and acasectoring group have no signifieant differenee, P>0.05.ConclusionAcusectoring on Dazhui and Baihui point has curative effect for treatmenting SAP.
