Objective To evaluate the curative effect of autogenous tooth bone graft material and ?-tricalcium phosphate after repairing postoperative bone defects of jaw cysts,that also provides a basis for the feasibility of autologous tooth bone graft material used in clinical work to repair the jaw cyst or other jaw defects.Methods Totally 214 patients with odontogenic jaw cysts had accepted treatment in The second hospital affiliated to Da Lian Medical University from October 2013 to June2017.All patients were required a preoperative examination of Orthopantomography(OPG),some patients for CT examination.Among the 132 cases who conform to the mandibular odontogenic jaw cyst,totally 45 cases whose diameter of the cyst was greater than or equal to 1 cm were selected.The patient's age,gender,the size of the lesion,lesions,bone graft type and the other information were accurately recorded at the same time.According to the different types of bone graft material for the cyst,the cases were divided into the following three groups: group A: autogenous tooth bone graft material group;group B: ?-tricalcium phosphate group;group C: does not use any cavity bone repair material.Observing the patients' tumor swelling after the surgery,regular reservation is required for the patient to go to the hospital for clinical examination and OPGs examination after1,3,6 months.Different types of bone graft material used in the cyst,also bone mineral density need to be measured several times through Digora measurement software.By statistical analysis,clinical data and bone mineral density data were statistically analyzed.Results 45 patients who were selected were examined on time after surgery.Duringthe reexamination,there were no clinical complications such as wound infection,exclusion of filling material,jaw dysfunction,pathological fracture of jaw and other complication.Through Digora measurement software measured bone mineral density.The average bone mineral density at 1,3,6 months after autogenous tooth bone graft material density was 104.19 ± 8.92,123.05 ± 10.43 and 135.47 ± 11.23;The average bone mineral density measured at 1,3,6 months after application of ?-tricalcium phosphate was 105.06 ± 8.57,124.72 ± 8.91 and 127.14 ± 9.02;The average bone mineral density measured at 1,3,6 months after cyst surgery which does not use any cavity bone repair material was 76.01 ± 6.18,95.21 ± 8.46 and 109.56 ± 9.13.Through the three sets of data by variance,it showed : At 1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation,the bone mineral density of group A and group B was significantly higher than that of group C,group A and group B two groups after one month and three months,bone mineral density between the two groups were significant(p <0.05),however,there was no significant on bone mineral density between the two groups after 6 months(p>0.05).Conclusion 45 cases of mandibular odontogenic jaw cyst patients was analyzed and systematically studied according to the treatment process and the patient's regular referral records.Drawing the following conclusions: In terms of osteogenesis speed and osteogenesis quality,the cases which were repaired with bone graft material were significantly better than those which were repaired without any materials.From the perspective of a long time clinical observation,the long-term effect between autogenous tooth bone graft material and ?-tricalcium phosphate was similar;However,from the early effect,the autogenous tooth bone graft material has more obvious advantages than?-tricalcium osteogenic,the autogenous tooth bone graft material osteogenesis effect are better than?-tricalcium osteogenic in terms of speed and quality,but their long-term osteogenic rates are similar.The autogenous tooth bone graft material as a new type of bone material which is easy to be acquired,manufacture is relatively simple and has a good osteogenic effect.In the early,autogenous tooth bone graft material can directly transform into a new bone quickly,not only accelerated the rate of osteogenesis but alsoformed a better bone tissue,this meterial is safe,nontoxic and immune-free;In assessing the speed and quality of bone defect repair after the operation of the jaw cyst,it is a simple and effective method to measure and analyze the bone mineral density at different periods by using Orthopantomography and the related measurement software.
