The Research Of Professor Pang Yong’s Academic Thoughts In Du Meridian Participate Treatments And Clinical Application In The Treatment Of Apoplexy

Background and Objective: Professor Pang Yong is a famous Chinese medicine practitioner in Guangxi,executive director of the fourth and fifth Council of the Chinese acupuncture society,executive director of the clinical branch of the Chinese acupuncture society,vice president of the Guangxi acupuncture society,and academic leader of acupuncture discipline in Guangxi university of Chinese medicine.He has been engaged in acupuncture and moxibustion research and clinical work for more than 30 years,who has profound clinical experience in apoplexy,insomnia,tinnitus,vertigo,arthralgia syndrome and other common diseases.Professor Pang has unique opinions in the academic,he put forward the idea of Du Meridian participate treatments,and proposed the therapy of kidney-reinforcing and Du Meridian-regulating acupuncture to treat apoplexy and it achieves obvious clinical advantages.Most of the published articles related to Professor pang Yong’s academic thoughts and clinical experiences are based on specific therapies so far,lack of comprehensive,systematic and thorough summary or research.The purpose of this paper is to summarize Professor Pang’s academic thoughts and clinical experiences in apoplexy,in order to inherit excellent ideological of famous Chinese medicine doctor,to explore ideas for clinical application and research,enrich the treatment methods.Methods: Recorded the content of Professor Pang Yong taught in outpatient over the past two years,summed up the origin and foundation of his thought "Du Meridian participate treatments".Searched all the literatures of Professor Pang Yong published or participated in the publication in Chinese biomedical journal,and collated related documents,sorted out the relevant content of Du Meridian.Collected the information of patients with apoplexy from November 2015 to October 2017 in Professor Pang Yong’s outpatient department.Analyzed and summarized the clinical experience of Professor Pang in apoplexy.Results: The first part,the thought "Du Meridian participate treatments" was proposed basing on the theory that Yang Qi play the leading role on human life activities.The thought mainly reflected in using Du Meridian points to treat a variety of diseases,Professor Pang thought Du Meridian widely used in the treatment of a variety of diseases mainly because of the relationship with Yang Qi.The second part,apoplexy is a common and frequently occurring disease in the clinic.Professor Pang believes that the strength deficiency is the main pathogenesis.When treating ischemic stroke,Professor Pang put forward the therapy of "kidney-reinforcing and Du Meridian-regulating acupuncture",which has a good clinical effect.Professor Pang’s clinical experiences of apoplexy involve combining Chinese and western treatment,etc.Conclusion: Professor Pang Yong has giant attainments in academic.He attached great importance to the physiological function of du meridian and the relationship between yang qi and diseases,and used to treat various diseases by acupuncture Du Meridian,especially be good at the treatment of neurological diseases.He proposed "kidney-reinforcing and Du Meridian-regulating" acupuncture treatment for treat stroke first.He has accumulated rich experience in practice,and made a contribution to the application of Du Meridian.
