| Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of nourishing yin clearing heat combined with TP regimen in the treatment of advanced esophageal cancer.Methods:A total of 80 patients with yin deficiency and internal heat type advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were included in this study.According to the random number table method,they were divided into treatment group and control group,with 40 cases in each group,The treatment group was treated with Ziyinqingre combined with "TP" chemotherapy,and the control group was treated with TP chemotherapy alone.The observation was continued for 2 cycles of 21 days per cycle.Two evaluations were performed before treatment and after two cycles of treatment.Statistical methods were used to evaluate the tumor size before and after treatment,serum tumor markers,KPS scores,TCM syndromes,and toxic and side effects.Results:1.In terms of tumor size evaluation,the tumor group’s effective rate and clinical benefit rate were higher in the treatment group than in the control group,but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The concentration of serum tumor markers CEA and SCC in the treatment group and the control group before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment were better in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant.3.In terms of KPS scores efficacy,the total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the KPS scores in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group,with statistical difference(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control in improving KPS scores.4.In the TCM syndrome score,the treatment group decreased after treatment compared with before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the control group had no statistical difference before and after treatment(P>0.05).5.In terms of toxicities and side effects caused by chemotherapy,the incidence of leukopenia and nausea and vomiting were significantly reduced in the treatment group compared with the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was decreasing.There are clear advantages in chemotherapy-induced myelosuppression and gastrointestinal reactions.Conclusions:1.Ziyinqingre combined with TP regimen has stable tumor size and reduces the role of tumor markers.2.Ziyinqingre method can improve the patient’s KPS scores,relieve the patient’s clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life.3.Ziyinqingre can reduce chemotherapy-induced bone marrow suppression and gastrointestinal reactions. |
