Objective To explore whether the selenium rich earthworm can effectively reduce the liver damage and the degree of fibrosis in the liver fibrosis mice.MethodComplete random design is used in this experiment?Making the Male Kunmingmice 60randomized divided into four groups:the normal group,themodel group,thegroupof selenium rich earthworm,thegroupof commonearthworm.each group of 15.expect the normal group,theother three groupsmice were given subcutaneous injection with CCl4?carbon tetrachloride olive oil solution?of 30%,1mL/kg every three days building the model.At the same time,the mice inthe normal group and the model mice ingroup were gavage with physiological saline of 0.9%every day one time.The mice in the group of the selenium rich earthworm were gavage with the suspension of selenium-rich earthwormevery day one time.The mice in the group of commonearthworm were gavage with the suspension of ordinary earthwormevery day one time.stop experiment building After 12 weeks,and continue gavageing intervention about 2 weeks.After the last gavage,fasting for 12 hours and kill the mice.Preparation of serum and liver for examination.In this experiment,the serum ALT,AST activity and routine HE?Masson staining were detected to observe the pathological changes of liver tissue,Immunohistochemical staining was used to observe the expression of Smad3 and Smad7 protein by SP method.ResultThe content of ALT and AST in the serum of the model group was higher than that of the other 3 groups,and the blank group and the model group had significant statistical significance?P<0.01?.No expression in the interstitial cells of Smad3,Smad7 in liver tissue of mice in blank,compared with the control group,the expression of Smad3 in the model group,the number of Smad7 increased,the brown cytoplasmic distribution;compared with the model group,Se group Smad3,Lumbricus Smad7 positive staining to a lesser extent;compared with the common earthworm earthworm group,Se group Smad3 expression the lower and higher expression of Smad7,there was significant difference?P<0.05?.The model group had significant statistical significance compared with the experimental group and the control group?P<0.01?.ConclusionSelenium enriched earthworm can reduce the activity of ALT and AST.Selenium enriched earthworm can enhance the expression of Smad7,inhibit the expression of Smad3 and reduce liver fibrosis through the TGF-/smad signaling pathway.The intervention effect of selenium enriched earthworm on liver fibrosis is better than that of common earthworm.
