Clinical Observation Of Shenggu Pills To Implant Osseointegration

ObjectiveTo observe the influence of Shenggu Pills on implant osseointegration.Using OSSTELL^TM mentor tested the implant stability quotient（ISQ）at all postoperative intervals（at implants placement,postoperative 4 weeks,8 weeks,and 12 weeks）in order to clearing the range of the biostability,clearing the implant stability changes during no loading osseointegration and the influence of Shenggu Pills on implant osseointegration,providing a reference for the time of implant loading and the postoperative medication.MethodsThe prospective randomized controlled clinical trials method（RCTs）was used in the study.During October 1st,2015 to October 1st,2017,60 patients of posterior teeth defect who were in the stomatology department of Foshan hospital of TCM were stochasticly divided into two groups with 30 cases in each one,according to the experiment inclusion criteria.Two groups were be cured the same initial therapy,such as taking the cefuroxime tablets,tinidazole tablets,ibuprofen sustained release capsules.In addition,the treatment group took orally Shenggu Pills while the other group took any drug including Chinese herbal ingredients.The course of treatment is 4 weeks.Two groups were used OSSTELL^TM mentor testing the implant stability quotient（ISQ）at all postoperative intervals（at implants placement,postoperative 4 weeks,8 weeks,and 12 weeks）.ResultsThe efficacy of the treatment group（65.00±5.15、71.86±4.35）was no much better than that of control group（64.76±5.41、69.85±4.31）on the day of surgery and consecutively at 12 weeks with no significant difference（P>0.05）.The efficacy of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group at 4 and weeks（P<0.05）.ConclusionEarly intake of Shenggu Pills could accelerate the implant bone union at3⁴ weeks,improve the implant’s ISQ at 4 and 8 weeks,and ensure the success rate of the operation.The cure is security with no obvious untoward effect and worthy of clinical popularize.
