Effects Of Tongyang Kuanxiong Granule On Clinical Efficacy And Serum VEGF In Patients With Stable Angina Pectoris

Objective:Observe the effect of Tongyang Kuanxiong granules on the clinical efficacy and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in patients with stable angina pectoris with qi stagnation and stagnation syndrome,and to explore the effectiveness of Tongyang Kuanxiong granules and possible intervention mechanism for angiogenesis.Methods:Through randomized double-blind placebo controlled trial was used.A total of 116 patients with stable angina pectoris who were included in the study were randomly divided into 2 groups.58 patients in the observation group were treated with conventional western medicine plus Tongyang Kuanxiong granules,3 times a day,1 packet each time.58 patients in the control group were given Tongyang Kuanxiong granule placebo on the basis of conventional western medicine,3 times a day,1 packet each time.The course of treatment for both groups was 4 weeks.The changes of TCM syndrome score,angina pectoris score,nitroglycerin suspension reduction,exercise treadmill exercise test,and serum vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)were observed before and after treatment.Results:1.Before treatment: There was no significant difference in serum,VEGF levels between observation group and control group before treatment(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group in terms of gender,age,disease course,TCM syndrome score,angina pectoris score,exercise plate test index,and serum VEGF level.There is comparability.2.TCM Syndrome scores: Before and after treatment in the group,there was a statistically significant difference between the TCM symptoms scoresbefore and after treatment in the observation group and the control group(P<0.01);after treatment,the TCM symptoms of the observation group and the control group after treatment were compared.The differences of the scores were statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment,the scores of TCM symptoms in the observation group decreased significantly compared with the control group.3.Angina pectoris score: before and after treatment in the group,the difference between the observation group and the control group before and after the treatment of angina pectoris score was statistically significant(P<0.01);after treatment,the difference between the observation group and the control group after treatment was angina Significance(P<0.01);After treatment,the angina score decreased significantly in the observation group compared with the control group.4.The rate of nitroglycerin stoppage: After treatment,the difference between the treatment group and the control group after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.01);after treatment,the reduction rate of nitroglycerin in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group.Increased.5.Treadmill exercise test time and metabolic equivalent: before and after treatment in the group,there was a statistically significant difference between the observation group and the control group before and after the treadmill exercise test(P<0.01);after treatment,the comparison between groups,after treatment There was a statistically significant difference in treadmill exercise test time and metabolic equivalent between the observation group and the control group(P<0.01).After the treatment,the treadmill exercise test time and metabolic equivalent decreased significantly in the observation group compared with the control group.6.Serum VEGF:Compared with before and after treatment in the group,serum VEGF levels in the observation group and the control group were significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.01);after treatment,the serum VEGF levels in the observation group and the control group were different after treatment.There was statistical significance(P<0.01);after treatment,serum VEGF levels in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group.7.Safety evaluation: No severe adverse events occurred in the treatment group.There were no significant abnormalities in blood safety,urine analysis,stool routine,liver and kidney function,and vital signs before and after treatment.Conclusion:Tongyang Kuanxiong granules can effectively improve TCM symptom scores,angina pectoris scores,nitroglycerin withdrawal rate,exercise plate test time and metabolic equivalents,and VEGF indicators in patients with stable angina pectoris with Qi stagnation syndrome.The patients with angina pectoris with qi stagnation and phlegm stagnation have significant curative effect and good safety.They may promote the angiogenesis of collateral vessels of coronary arteries and give full play to the advantages of Chinese and Western combination treatment programs.It is worthy of clinical application.
