Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis (Wind-cold-dampness Type) With Chinese Herbal Fumigation

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of fumigation of"LaoHanTuiWashing prescription" in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(Wind-Cold-Dampness Type)and to explore its mechanism of action,forfumigation of " LaoHanTuiWashing prescription " for knee osteoarthritis The widespread application of(Wind-Cold-Dampness Type)provides clinical basis.Methods:All cases were from outpatients in Shangqiu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Sixty patients who meet the criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group using a principle of parallel control.Each group had 30 patients.The treatment group was treated with“LaoHanTuiWashing prescription”for Chinese herbal fumigation and the control group was treated with flurbiprofen gel plaster.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.Before and after treatment,VAS scores and WOMAC scores were recorded to evaluate knee joint pain and improvement of knee joint symptoms.The WOMAC score was followed up for 3 months after the end of treatment to evaluate the efficacy of the two groups.Finally,the record data is summarized,a database is established,andSPASS 22.0 software is used for statistical analysis.Result:1)Effectiveness comparison:The effective rate in the treatment group was 90.0%,and the effective rate in the control group was 83.3%.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the effectiveness by the rank sum test(P>0.05).2)Comparison of VAS scores:The VAS scores before and after treatment in both groups were significantly lower than before.Within the two groups,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3)Comparison of WOMAC index scores:The WOMAC index scores of the two groups before and after treatment were significantly lower than before,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).4)Comparison of WOMAC index scores after 3 months follow-up:The WOMAC index score in the treatment group was lower than at the end of treatment;WOMAC index scores in the control group were higher than at the end of treatment.Conclusion:" LaoHanTui Washing prescription " fumigation for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(Wind-Cold-Dampness Type)can signifycantly relieve pain,improve knee function,clinical efficacy is satisfactory,and has the advantages of simple operation,high safety,worthy of clinical Promotion and application.
