Clinical Observations On The Acue Phase Of Graves’ Disease (the Excess Of Liver-fire Syndrome) Treated By Xia Kucao Capsule Combined With Methidathion

Objective:1)To observe the clinical effects of XiaKucao capsule combined Methidathion before and after treatment about clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,thyroid function,thyroid autoantibodies,thyroid enlargement,the thytoid character,body weight,heart rate and so on;2)To investigate the validity and security of XiaKucao capsule treated with GD,to provide theoretical basis for treatment of GD.Methods:66 patients which all from March 2016 to Decemebr 2017,in the endocrinology department of the first affiliated hospital of henan university of traditional Chinese medicine were admitted to the hospital were strictly selected according to GD and excess of liver-fire syndrome diag-nostic standards.According to the random number method,the patiernts were randomly divide into the control group of 33 patients and 33 in the treatment group The control group was treated with the basic treatment that is low iodine,high calorie diet and B vitamins.and oral MMI,The initial measurement was 10mg,3 times a day.The dosage was adjusted according to the patient’s thyroid hormone level.On the basis of the control group,the treatment group received XiaKucao capsule twice daily.four weeks for one course of treatment,continuous observation of two courses.Analysis of two groups of patients before and after the treatment of TCM syndrome scores,degree of goiter and thyroid texture,heart rate,body weight,thyroid function,thyroid autoantibodies level change,parallel statistical analysis.Results:Finally,62 patients completed the study,30 patients in the treatment group and 32 in the control group.The two groups were comparable in gender,age,course of disease,thyroid function and antibody,heart rate and weight(p>0.05).After treatment,the total effective rate in the treatment group and the control group were 100%and 90.6%,which showing significant statistical.1.TCM symptoms integral,after treatment,TCM symptom score in treatment group were decreased than the control group(11.40± 4.98 vs.17.37± 5.09,p=O.O01),showed statistical significance.2.After treatment,thyroid enlargement was improved in both groups after treatment(p<0.05),It’s statistically significant,After treatment,in the treatment group the improvement of goiter was superior to the control group(1.26± 1.33vs.1.93±1.47,p=0.000).3.Thyroid texture,the two groups after treatment in patients with thyroid texture from the previous have improved significantly(p<0.05),with significant statistical significance,treatment group after treatment of thyroid quality improvement is better than that of control group(1.06±1.Olvs.1.75±1.21 p0.020).4.In terms of heart rate and weight,the weight and heart rate of the two groups were improved after treatment(p<0.05),which was statistically significant.The heart rate and weight of the treatment group were not significantly different between the two groups(p>0.05).5.In terms of thyroid function,the levels of FT3 and FT4 in both groups were significantly higher than those of the groups before treatment(p<0.05),which was statistically significant.The decrease of FT3 in the treatment group was(5.28±1.Olvs.6.52±2.56,p=0.015).The decrease of FT4 in the treatment group was also decreased with more extent(10.02±3.77vs.13.45±6.36,p=0.013).After treatment,TSH level was higher than before treatment(P<0.05),which was statistical significantance.After the treatment two group had no significant difference.There had no statisitical significant difference in TSH level in the treatment group after treatment(p>0.05).6.After treatment,TGAb and TPOAb in both groups were lower than those in each group(p<0.05),which was statistically significant.There was no statistically significant difference in TGAb,TPOAb level and antibody level in the control group after treatment.Conclusion:Based on the methidathion,XiaKucao capsule has a signi-Ficant curative effect in patients with GD,including clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,thyroid function,thyroid enlargement,the Thytoid character,body weight,heart rate andso on.Therefore,the treatment of GD with clearing liver for purging pathogenic fire is remarkable,deserved the clinical expansion.
