| Objects:In this study, female Menopausal Syndrome of Yin-deficiency and Fire-excess Type were subjects. The purpose is to compare the difference between the efficacy of Return-fire Acupuncture-moxibustion Therapy and conventional acupuncture-moxibustion therapy for menopausal syndrome. This study provides a basis for enriching the acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of menopausal syndrome. Methods:From August 2019 to February 2020,60 subjects who met the inclusion criteria in the outpatients at the center of preventive treatment of disease in Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, were randomly divided into two groups. The return-fire Acupuncture-moxibustion group in group A was treated with return-fire Acupuncture-moxibustion therapy. And the conventional acupuncture-moxibustion group in group B was treated with conventional acupuncture-moxibustion therapy.Treatment was performed 2 or 3 times every other day for a total of 4 weeks,10 times a month. Before and after treatment, comparing the baselines of the two groups, main efficacy indicator(Domestic Improved Kupperman Score Scale(KMI)),Secondary efficacy indicators(the Chinese Traditional Medicine Syndrome Efficacy Rating Scale for Menopausal Syndrome of Yin-deficiency and Fire-excess Type(YF),the Menopause Quality of Life Rating Scale(MRS),the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and the Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS))to evaluate the clinical efficacy of this therapy in treating the Menopausal Syndrome of Yin-deficiency and Fire-excess Type.Results:1.Baseline analysis: There was no statistically significant difference in age,BMI,and course of disease between the two groups of patients before treatment(P> 0.05);The difference of the main efficacy indicators(KMI)and secondary efficacy indicators(YF,MRS,SAS,SDS)before treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The results suggest that the baseline conditions of the two groups are comparable.2.Comparison between the two groups before and after treatment: The main efficacy indicators(KMI),the secondary efficacy indicators(YF,MRS,SAS,andSDS)were compared before and after treatment in the each group, and their scores were lower than before and the differences were both statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison between the two groups: After treatment, compared the main efficacy indicators(KMI),the secondary efficacy indicators(YF,MRS,SAS,SDS),and the improvement of each indicator between the two groups, and all of them were lower than before, and the differences of KMI,YF,MRS,SAS and the improvement were statistically significant(P <0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in SDS after treatment and its improvement(P> 0.05).Conclusions:1.Return-fire Acupuncture-moxibustion Therapy and conventional acupuncture-moxibustion therapy have good clinical effects on the body, urogenital tract, anxiety, depression and other symptoms of Menopausal Syndrome of Yin-deficiency and Fire-excess Type.2.The improvement of the primary and secondary efficacy indicators of Return-fire Acupuncture-moxibustion Therapy is better than the conventional acupuncture-moxibustion therapy, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion. |
