Study About The Expression And Significance Of Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist And Vimentin In Colorectal Cancer

Objectives To detect the expression levels of Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist and Vimentin in colorectal cancer tissues,colorectal benign lesions,and normal mucosa adjacent to colorectal cancer using immunohistochemistry methods;to analyze the association between Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist,Vinmentin and clinicopathological parameters of colorectal cancer,and the relationship among Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist and Vimentin were meanwhile investigated.Investigation on the mechanism of Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist and Vimentin in the occurrence and development ocolorectal cancer was conducted,in the aim of providing more reliable data and theoretical support for early diagnosis,guiding treatment and evaluating prognosis of colorectal cancer.Methods Immunohistochemical method was applied to detect the expression of Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist and Vimentin in 72 cases of sporadic human colorectal cancer,45 cases of benign lesions,and 45 cases of adjacent normal tissues.The associations among Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist,Vimentin and various clinical pathological parameters were analysed,so were the relationships of those four predictors with each other.Results The positive expression rates of Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist and Vimentin were statistically significantly higher in cancer tissues(95.83%,94.44%,93.06% and 95.83%,respectively)than that in colorectal benign lesions(26.67%,24.44%,28.89%,22.22%)and adjacent normal tissues(17.78%,20.00%,17.78%,13.33%)(All p < 0.05).The increased expression of Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist and Vimentin was observed among the colorectal cancer patients with poor differentiation,late TNM stage late,penetrated serosa,lymph node metastasis(p < 0.05).The positive expression rates of Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist and Vimentin were not statistically different among those with different sex(p > 0.05).The expression rates of Gab2,ERK1/2 and Twist are positively correlated with each other.(r>0,p < 0.05).The expression rates of Vimentin are No correlation with Gab2,ERK1/2 and Twist.((p > 0.05)Conclusions 1 This topic suggested that the increase of positive expression rate of Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist and Vimentin would be associated with occurrence of colorectal cancer,especially in the stages of Colorectal cancer infiltration and metastasis.2 The increase of expression of Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist and Vimentin might be associated with Cancer biological behavior of colorectal cancer and play an important role in development of colorectal cancer.All of the four predictors could promote infiltration and metastasis of Colorectal cancer.3 Gab2,ERK 1/2,Twist might be synergistic in occurrence and development of colorectal cancer,i.e.,they could promote the development of tumor via mutual effects on each other.However,the expression of Vimentin in colorectal cancer is poor.This experiment does not show its synergistic effect with Gab2,ERK1/2 and Twist.In future studies,other detection methods may be added to better understand the role of Vimentin in colorectal cancer.4 The joint measurement of Gab2,ERK1/2,Twist and Vinmentin in colorectal cancer patients may contribute to the judement of biological behavior of colorectal cancer,thus it is expected to provide new targets for drug treatment of colorectal cancer,improve clinical treatment,prognosis of colorectal cancer,and prolong survival of patients.
