Brain metastases are the most common malignant tumors in primary brain tumors.The primary tumors can originate from all parts of the body especially in lung cancer.Non small cell lung cancer is the most common type of lung cancer.About 50% of the patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer will have intracranial metastases in the course of disease progression.Once the brain metastases,it means that the patient has a poor prognosis and a high mortality.The natural survival period of non small cell lung cancer after brain metastases is about 3 months.Even after active treatment,the survival time is only 4-12 months.The present study showed that brain metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer and the prognosis of patients,radiotherapy imaging technology,surgery is closely related to previous non-small cell lung cancer in brain metastasis,the main treatment methods include surgery,radiotherapy,chemotherapy,targeted therapy and combined therapy.But there are many controversies about the choice of treatment for non-small cell lung cancer after brain metastases.This article reviews the treatment of patients with non-small cell lung cancer with brain metastases.
