The Efficacy Of Acupuncture Combining With Otopuncture For Treating Grade 1 Essential Hypertension

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of acupuncture combining with otopuncture therapies for patients of 1 grade low medium risk group Essential Hypertension(EH).Methods:To divide 66 patients with Essential Hypertension who were in accordance with the diagnostic criteria of 1 grade low medium risk group into the treatment group and the control group,33 cases in each group.The treatment group received acupuncture combining with otopuncture therapies.The acupuncture was applied for 3 times a week,30 min each time---18 times in total;the otopuncture was applied for 1 times a week---a total of 6 times.The control group was intervened only in lifestyle.Then observed the blood pressure,TCM symptom score and routine examination before and after treatment of the two groups.SPSS21.0 software was used for statistical analysis in all data a.The adverse events and adverse reaction were observed during the treatment.Result:(1)Before treatment,the two groups of subjects were compared by gender,age,course of disease,blood pressure,body mass index,temperature,respirations,pulse,blood lipid,fasting blood glucose,blood routine,renal function and TCM symptom score,hypertension risk degree of grading,but there were no significant differences(P>0.05),between them and the two groups were comparable.(2)After treatment,the two groups of patients in TCM symptom score and body mass index were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05),there was no statistical difference between groups(P>0.05)?(3)After treatment,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,totalcholesterol,triglyceride and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol were decreased in the two groups,and high density lipoprotein-cholesterol increased,the difference was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05).And the improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the efficiency of pressure reduction of the treatment group is90.32%,compared with 70.00% of control group total response.The efficiency of the treatment group was better(P<0.05).(4)Safety evaluation: The values of temperature,pulse,respirations,blood routine,renal function and fasting blood glucose in the two groups were all within the normal range before and after treatment.During the whole research process,there was no adverse reaction and adverse events in the treatment group.That indicated that the use of acupuncture and otopuncture therapies in the treatment of primary hypertension was safe and reliable.Conclusion:(1)The two groups can improve the blood pressure,blood lipid,body mass index and TCM symptom score,but in the improvement of blood pressure and blood lipid,the treatment group is superior to the control group.(2)The treatment group in the treatment of 1 grade low medium risk group EH is safe and effective and non-toxic side effects.
