| Objective: To observe the clinical recovery and the changes of humoral immunity and cellular immune function in children with recurrent respiratory tract infections(RRTI)after application of immunomodulator Huai qi huang.To explore the clinical effect of Huai qi huang in the treatment of children with recurrent respiratory tract infections.Provide a theoretical basis for the treatment and prevention of recurrent respiratory tract infections in children.Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to select 179 children aged 3-12 years old who met the criteria for inclusion of recurrent respiratory tract infections and received treatment in the Dalian Children's Hospital Immunology Clinic from January 2016 to October 2018.These children was treated with immunomodulator Huai qi Huang and followed up regularly.To record the frequency of recurrent respiratory tract infections within 1 year,and analyze and compare the immune functions.Results:1.Among the 179 recurrent respiratory tract infections children,123 were aged in 3-5 years old,accounting for 69%;56 were aged in 6-12 years old,accounting for 31%.Among them,132 cases of RRTI children 's immune function were decreasing,accounting for 74%;47 cases of RRTI children were normal,accounting for 26%.2.In the 179 cases of RRTI children with abnormal immune function were 132 cases.Among them,77 cases had humoral immunity dysfunction,accounting for 58%;24 cases had cellular immune dysfunction,accounting for 18%.In the comparison of the abnormal rate of humoral immune between the 3-5 years old group and 6-12 years old group,the difference was statistically significant.3.36 of the 179 RRTI children were treated with the immunomodulator Huai qi huang.To analyze the frequency and duration of respiratory infections in the Huai qi huang group and the untreated group within 1 year,the frequency of respiratory infections in the two groups was statistically significant.To analyze the frequency and duration of respiratory infections before and after the treatment with Huai qi huang,the difference between the two groups in the frequency and duration of lower respiratory infections was statistically significant;To analyze the abnormal rate of immune function before and after treatment with Huai qi huang,the abnormal rate of cellular immune function was significantly lower after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant.4.36 of the 179 RRTI children were treated with the immunomodulator Huai qi huang.Some indexes of humoral immune function after the treatment with Huai qi huang were higher than before,the difference of IgA and IgG between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant.Some of the cellular immune function indexes were higher than those before the treatment with Huai qi huang,and the difference of CD3+ and CD3+CD4+ between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant.And analyze the correlation between the frequency of RRTI clinical attacks and immune function,there was a moderate negative correlation between IgG and the frequency of infection in humoral immunity,and the difference was statistically significant.;And there was a moderate negative correlation between CD3+?CD3+CD4+ and the frequency of infection in cellular immunity,and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.The abnormal immune function of RRTI children were mainly aged in the younger age group(3-5 years old),and mainly for humoral immune dysfunction.2.The treatment with immunomodulator Huai qi huang can both reduce the frequency and duration of recurrent respiratory tract infections,and play a important role in the treatment and prevention of recurrent respiratory tract infections.3.The treatment with immunomodulator Huai qi huang can significantly improve the level of IgA and IgG in humoral immunity of RRTI children,and increase the levels of CD3+ and CD3+CD4+ in cellular immunity,which has a certain effect on enhancing immune function.4.There is a moderately negative correlation between humoral immunity IgG level?cellular immunity CD3+,CD3+CD4+ level and clinical symptoms in RRTI children who were treated with immunomodulator Huai qi huang.It suggests that when the immune function is enhanced,it will reduce repeated respiratory infections.The number of occurrences,for children with recurrent respiratory infections,can improve the immune function by applying phlegm to further treat and prevent the onset of respiratory tract infections.It is suggested that when the immune function is enhanced,the frequency of RRTI will be reduced.The immune function status of RRTI children can be improved by using Huai qi huang,and can be further used to treat and prevent the attack of recurrent respiratory tract infections. |
