Objective: The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Xuming Decoction Modified Zhuangyi Zhuangyao in treating Convalescent Cerebral Infarction Patients with Yang deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis obstruction syndrome. Methods: From January 2018 to December 2018,60 patients with cerebral infarction who met the inclusion criteria in the Department of Encephalopathy,First Affiliated Hospital of University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected. The patients were numbered according to the order of hospitalization. The patients were divided into control group and treatment group by random number table. The control group was given simple basic treatment of Western medicine, namely conventional symptomatic treatment such as anti-platelet,lipid-lowering,combined with rehabilitation treatment, once a day,30 minutes each time, according to basic diseases,to regulate blood pressure and blood sugar levels; On the basis of the control group, the treatment group was treated with Xuming Decoction Modified Zhuangyi Zhuangyao medicine, which was made by Jiangsu Jiangyin Tianjiang Pharmaceutical Co,Ltd.with 1 dose per day,400 ml of boiling water dissolving, two warm doses after breakfast and dinner, one month as a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses. The clinical neurological deficit scale(NIHSS),activity of daily living scale(ADL),modified Rankin scale(MRS),integral of TCM syndromes and evaluation of TCM stroke efficacy were recorded before treatment,1 month and 2 months after treatment in the treatment group and the control group respectively. The adverse reactions and safety of each group before and after treatment were recorded.Observing and sorting out the data for statistical analysis, and then comprehensively evaluating the clinical efficacy and safety of Xuming Decoction Modified Zhuangyi Zhuangyao in treating Convalescent Cerebral Infarction Patients with Yang deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis obstruction syndrome.Results:(1)The total effective rate was 93.10% in the treatment group and 72.41% in the control group. There was a significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the comprehensive effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(2)TCM Syndrome Integral: There was significant difference between the two groups after 1 month and 2 months of treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.(3)NIHSS: After one month and two months of treatment, there was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05);compared with the control group, there was significant difference between the two groups, and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(4)MRS: There was significant difference between the two groups after 1 and 2 months of treatment(P<0.05).The results showed that the treatment group was better than the control group.(5)ADL: There was statistical difference between the two groups after 1 month and 2 months of treatment(P<0.05).The effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(6)Safety evaluation: According to clinical observation,no abnormal results of heart, liver, kidney and coagulation function were found in the treatment group and the control group when they were discharged from hospital, which indicated that Xuming Decoction Modified Zhuangyi Zhuangyao was safe and reliable to take. Conclusions: Xuming Decoction Modified Zhuangyi Zhuangyao can significantly improve the degree of clinical neurological deficits and TCM syndrome scores of patients with phlegm and blood stasis obstruction syndrome in convalescent stage of cerebral infarction, and improve the daily living ability of patients. Its clinical efficacy is definite, and its safety is good, with no toxic side effects.
