understanding of the contemporary doctorson to Zong Qi,clarify the relationship between Zong Qi and various organs and blood.This will provide theoretical support to guide clinical practice,in order the Zong Qi theory can better serve the disease diagnosis and treatment process.Methods:The first is to review the ancient literature such as the Huangdi Neijing,the Medical Implications.the Medical Essays,and the Chinese and Western Medicine Cross Reference,summarizes the ancient physicians' understanding of the Zong Qi theory.The second is to collect articles-which was from January 1,1990 to December 31,2017-related to Zong Qi theory through the China Knowledge Network,summarizes the enrichment and development of the Zong Qi theory,and today's doctors use the Zong Qi theory to treat diseases.Third,on the basis of the mentor Zhou Faxiang's understanding of Zong Qi and its clinical trials,summed up Professor Zhou Faxiang's ideology and its commonly used clinical drugs.Results:Systematically organize the content of the Zong Qi theory in Huangdi Neijing,and constructed the framework of the Zong Qi theory.There are two aspects connotation of the Zong Qi.One of
