Clinical Study On Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction And Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction In Treating Angina Pectoris Of Phlegm-stasis Blocking Collateral Type With Hyperhomocysteinemia

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction and Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction treating Stable Angina Pectoris of Phlegm-stasis Blocking Collateral Type with Hyperhomocysteinemia.Methods Eighty patients with stable angina pectoris accompanied by Hyperhomocysteinemia were randomly divided into two groups.Among them,40 patients in the control group were treated with routine western medicine,and 40 patients in the treatment group were treated with Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction and Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction on the basis of routine western medicine.After 4 weeks of treatment,the symptoms of angina pectoris,TCM syndromes,electrocardiogram,nitroglycerin withdrawal rate and plasma homocysteine levels were observed before and after treatment in both groups.At the same time,adverse reactions and safety indicators were observed.Results Compared with the control group,Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction and Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction were significantly superior to the control group in improving the curative effect of angina pectoris(total effective rate 92.5%),TCM syndromes(total effective rate 95%),electrocardiogram(total effective rate 87.5%),nitroglycerin stopping rate(stopping rate 82.5%)was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05),and in reducing plasma homocysteine level was also significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).In the course of treatment,there were no significant abnormal changes in the safety indicators and no obvious adverse reactions of patients.Conclusion Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction and Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction can significantly improve the symptoms of angina pectoris,TCM syndromes and electrocardiogram indicators in patients with phlegm-blood stasis type stable angina pectoris accompanied by hyperhomocysteinemia,reduce the use rate of nitroglycerin,and it can significantly reduce plasma homocysteine levels.In addition,the safety of Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction and Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction therapy is also very good,so the therapy is worthy of further promotion.
