Objective To study the relationship between the expression of Ebpl protein and Ki-67 cell proliferation index in colon cancer and its clinicopathological characteristics,and to provide a clinical basis for the prevention and treatment of colon cancer.Methods The treatment of colon cancer was received in the affiliated hospital of Yanbian University from October 2017 to October 2018.The study included 48 cases of colon adenocarcinoma and 48 adjacent to the adjacent cancer.The expression of the Ebpl protein and the Ki-67 cell proliferation index in the colon adenocarcinoma and the adjacent tissues was detected by an immunohistochemical method and the correlation between the expression of the two and the clinicopathological characteristics of the colon adenocarcinoma was analyzed.Results 1.The positive rate of expression of the Ebpl protein in the colon cancer(43.75%)was much higher than that of the adjacent tissue group(10.42%).and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);the expression of the Ebp]protein was related to the degree of differentiation of the colon,the lymph node metastasis,the distant metastasis.There was no sigmificant difference between the expression of Ebp1 protein and the sex.age.race.tumor size and tumor size of the patients with colon cancer(P>0.05).2.The high expression rate of Ki67(>50%)in colon cancer tissues was 51.17%,which was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues(0%).The high expression of Ki67 was significantly different from that of patients with colon cancer in age,tumor differentiation.lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis,vascular embolus and depth of tumor invasion(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the high expression of Ki67 and the sex.race,tumor size and tumor location in patients with colon cancer(all P>0 05).3.The correlation between the positive rate of Ebpl protein and the high expression of Ki67 cell proliferation index showed that rwas 0.34(P<0.01).and the difference was statistically significant.The results showed that the positive rate of Ebpl protein was correlated with the high expression rate of Ki67 cell proliferation index in the pathological tissues of colon cancer.The higherthe Ki67 cell proliferation index.the higher the Ebpl positive rate.Conclusion 1.The combined detection of Ebpl protein and Ki67 cell proliferation index is helpful to judue the malignant dgree,invasion ability and metastasis tendency of colon cancer.2.Ebpl protein has certain guiding significance in the development of targeted drugs for colon cancer patients.It is possible to become a new biological auxiliary target in colon cancer.
