Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between PICC knowledge, care capacity, and the influencing factors of caregivers in leukemia children, and to explore the correlation between PICC knowledge and care capacity of caregivers of leukemia children.Method : The sampling method was used to select the main caregivers of 164 children with leukemia who underwent peripheral venous catheterization from November 2017 to October 2018 in a blood department of a hospital in Hunan Province. The questionnaire was used, the PICC knowledge questionnaire was taken, and the questionnaire was taken care of.Questionnaire for the Care Capacity Scale(FCTI),using Excel2007 to establish a database and double-entry and check data. After the data is confirmed, the data is statistically analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0 software. The count data in this study is frequency,The composition ratio is described.Measurement data were described by mean ± standard deviation, single factor analysis was performed by t test or ANOVA analysis of variance, multivariate analysis was performed by multiple linear regression analysis, and correlation analysis was performed by Pearson correlation analysis.Result:(1)Recovering 164 valid PICC knowledge questionnaires, the total score of PICC Knowledge-Attitude-Practice questionnaire for leukemia children was 73.15±6.28;and the knowledge dimension score was 28.29±3.36 points;the attitude dimension score was 15.38±1.42;the behavior score was 29.48±3.55 points. The degree of education of the caregivers of leukemia children, occupation and illness, the time of catheterization and previous management experience are the influencing factors for the care of PICC patients with leukemia(P?0.05),which can account for 44.30% of the total variation.(2)164 copies of the Effective Caregiver Care Capacity Scale(FCTI),and the total score of the Career Care Capacity Scale(FCTI)for children with leukemia was 27.23±1.71 points; The scores for each dimension were: 5.10±0.66;the scores of thestrain needs and assistance dimensions are 5.23±0.67;the scores of the individual emotional dimension dimensions are 5.82±0.84;and the scores of the assessed family and community resources are 5.44±0.70;The dimension score for satisfying the need for care is 5.61±0.78.The degree of care, monthly income, physical condition, and time of catheterization of children with leukemia are the influencing factors of caring ability of caregivers of leukemia children(P?0.05),which can explain the total variation of 35.5%.(3)The total score of the caregiver's care ability scale(FCTI)of leukemia patients was significantly negatively correlated with the total score, knowledge and behavioral dimension of the PICC Zhixinxing questionnaire(r=-0.279,P<0.001).Conclusion:(1)PICC caregivers of leukemia children are at a medium level and need to be improved. The caregiver's education level, occupation, child management time and previous management experience are the influencing factors of the care of PICC patients.(2)Caregivers of leukemia children have better care ability than other disease caregivers, but at the same time, due to the particularity of care recipients, caregivers are less able to handle personal emotions. The caregiver's educational level, monthly income, physical condition, and child care time are factors influencing the caring ability of caregivers of leukemia children.(3)The level of PICC knowledge and care ability of the caregiver of leukemia children is positively correlated.Improving the level of knowledge and care of the caregiver PICC can improve the caregivers' care ability.
