Abstract/Summary:
Anemia is the most common clinical symptom during pregnancy,and domestic statistics show that the incidence rate is above 30%[1].Pregnancy anemia is not only caused by the lack of trace element iron.The levels of folic acid,vitamin B12 and vitamin A in pregnant women also play an important role in the occurrence and development of anaemia in pregnancy[2~4].Although the use of iron has improved the diagnosis of anemia in pregnant women,other indexs are requrid to ameliorate the veracity of the diagnoses of early stage diagnosis and grievous of anemia,in the period of pregnancy.Consequently,early new find blood serum markers take significant effect in the preliminary assessment of anemia during pregnancy.ObjectiveTo investigate the levels of ferritin and related trace elements vitamin A(Vitamin A)in the anemia of women in late pregnancy,and to analyze whether there is a correlation between the level of vitamin A and the anemia of the third trimester and serum ferritin(SF).The relevance of this correlation to the clinical sign:ificance of anemia during pregnancy,and to offer better help for patients take precautions against and treatment of pregnancy and anemia.Method100 women with advanced gestation(>28 weeks)identified as anemia from the obstetrics clinic of the Affiliated Central Hospital of Shenyang Medical College from August 2017 to October 1818 were selected as the experimental group(anemia group according to hemoglobin)The content was further divided into 34 cases of mild anemia,67 cases of moderate anemia,no severe,very severe anemia.In the same period,100 women with no anemia in the third trimester of pregnancy who were enrolled in the maternity clinic of our hospital for prenatal examination during the pregnancy period were used as the control group.The pregnant women in the study group and the control group were regularly on time,and the fasting elbow venous blood was taken in the early morning of the pregnancy test.The venous blood of hemoglobin was measured and vacuum-pulsed with a powder cap containing EDTA-K2 anticoagulant.Among them,venous blood for detecting ferritin and vitamin A was placed in a vacuum pumping blood vessel of a yellow cap containing an inert separating gel.The general data and hemoglobin and vitamin A levels were compared with the anemia pregnant women and the healthy pregnant women.The levels of vitamin A and serum ferritin were compared between the subgroups of the anemia group.The correlation between vitamin A and hemoglobin and serum ferritin was analyzed in the anemia group.ResultThe anemia group and the control group had general data balance,which was not statistically significant.(1)The levels of ferritin and vitamin A in non-anemia group were obviously higher than those in anemia group[Vita A 0.27±0.15 VS 0.35±0.22 P<0.05;SF 11.95±4.79VS23.19±11.57 P<0.05].(2)The VA deficiency rate and ferritin deficiency rate in the non-anemia group were obviously lower than those in the anemia group,and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05)The VA-associated ferritin deficiency rate(16%)in the anemia group was greater than that in the non-anemia group(6%).(3)There was no statistically significant difference in vitamin A and ferritin levels between the inferior anemia pregnant women(P>0.05).(4)Correlation analysis between vitamin A and hemoglobin in the anemia group showed a correlation(r=0.261,P=0.009);correlation analysis between vitamin A and serum ferritin in the anemia group showed a correlation(r=0.457,P=0.000),both were statistically significant.Conclusions1.The level of vitamin A in the anemia group was significantly lower than that in the non-anemia group,indicating that the nutritional status of trace element vitamin A played a role in the development of anemia during pregnancy.2.The concentration of vitamin A and ferritin in anemia during pregnancy has nothing to do with the degree of anemia.3.Vitamin A may be involved in the metabolism and transport of serum ferritin,and iron absorption and metabolism play an extremely important role in the development of anemia.Therefore,the correlation analysis between vitamin A and anemia and ferritin is of great meaning for overall evaluating of the venture of anemia during pregnancy.
