Clinical Observation Of Shegan Pingchuan Decoction In The Treatment Of Cold Asthma

Objective:Through the observation of Shegan Pingchuan decoction in the treatment of Asthma,the change of pulmonary function and laboratory examination to analysis the security and effectiveness of the application of Shegan Pingchuan decoction and to find a way to provide a variety of safe and reliable methods in the clinical treatment of Asthma.Method:63 cases patients with Asthma from the Nangang branch courts of Heilongjiang Sciences of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into two groups.The control group was treated with Seretide,and the treatment group was treated with Seretide combined with Shegan Pingchuang decoction.Both groups were treated for 14 days.The changes of TCM syndrome score,lung function and ACT score before and after treatment in each group were observed.Results:1.Curative effect: the total effective rate of Seretide combined with Shegan Pingchuan decoction in treating mild to moderate cold asthma was96.67%,and the total effective rate of Seretide alone in the treatment of mild to moderate cold asthma was 90.91%.2.TCM symptoms:Before treatment,the TCM syndrome score of wheezing in the treatment group was 1.17±0.79,and that in the control group was 1.03±0.81.After treatment,the TCM syndrome score of wheezing in the treatment group was0.33±0.61,and that in the control group was 0.70±0.68.The result shows that the use of Seretide and the addition of Shegan Pingchuang decoction could reduce the TCM syndrome score of wheezing.The effect of Seretide combined with Shegan Pingchuang decoction was better than that of Seretide alone.Before treatment,the TCM syndrome score of cough in the treatmentgroup was2.17±0.87,and that in the control group was2.15±0.83.After treatment,the TCM syndrome score of cough in the treatment group was1.00±0.69,and that in the control group was1.39±0.66.The result shows that the use of Seretide and the addition of Shegan Pingchuang decoction could reduce the TCM syndrome score of cough.The effect of Seretide combined with Shegan Pingchuang decoction was better than that of Seretide alone.Before treatment,the TCM syndrome score of physical cold in the treatment group was0.60±0.50,and that in the control group was0.52±0.51.After treatment,the TCM syndrome score of physical cold in the treatment group was0.07±0.25,and that in the control group was0.36±0.49.The result shows that the use of Seretide and the addition of Shegan Pingchuang decoction could reduce the TCM syndrome score of physical cold.The effect of Seretide combined with Shegan Pingchuang decoction was better than that of Seretide alone.Before treatment,the TCM syndrome score of shortness of breath in the treatment group was2.17 ± 0.87,and that in the control group was2.15±0.83.After treatment,the TCM syndrome score of shortness of breath in the treatment group was1.00±0.69,and that in the control group was1.39±0.66.The result shows that the use of Seretide and the addition of Shegan Pingchuang decoction could reduce the TCM syndrome score of shortness of breath.The effect of Seretide combined with Shegan Pingchuang decoction was better than that of Seretide alone.For the two groups of main clinical symptoms points in the throat phlegm,expectoration,wheezes,chest distress can be reduced in both groups but without statistical significance.3.Lung function:Lung function improved in both groups after treatment,the effect of Seretide combined with Shegan Pingchuang decoction was better than that of Seretide alone.4.Asthma control:ACT scores improved after treatment in both groups,indicating that asthma was well controlled,the effect of Seretide combined with Shegan Pingchuang decoction was better than that of Seretide alone.Conclusion:1.Shegan Pingchuang decoction is effective in treating mild to moderate clinical symptoms of cold asthma.2.Shegan Pingchuang decoction is effective in improving lung function.3.Shegan Pingchuang decoction can effectively control asthma.
