Objective: To explore the correlation between serum levels of carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)and carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9)in patients undergoing radical resection of colorectal cancer. Methods: a total of 333 patients with colorectal cancer received radical resection of colorectal cancer from June 2015 to June 2018 were enrolled in this study, respectively, the patient undefined data of sex, age, tumor location, tumor size and tumor differentiation were collected, such as medical records, preoperative CEA and CA19-9 levels measured by Chemiluminescence immunoassay, respectively to compare different TNM stage colon cancer,CEA and CA19-9,the differences of expression by using generalized linear Logistic regression model to analyze different TNM staging and the correlation of the expression level of the expression level of serum CEA and CA19-9.Results: the positive rates of serum CEA expression in patients with colorectal cancer at I-IV stage were 19.14%,30.00%,51.11% and 78.43%,respectively.The positive rates of serum CA19-9 expression were 4.26%,15.00%,24.44% and 49.02%,respectively.The positive rates of serum CA12-5 were 10.64%,9.00%,22.96%,39.22%.The positive rates of serum CA72-4 were 4.26%,11.00%,11.85%,47.06%.The positive rates of CA24-2 were 14.89%,21.00%,41.48% and 56.86%,respectively.The differences between CEA,CA19-9,CA12-5,CA72-4,and CA24-2 in different TNM staging groups were statistically significant. The positive rates of CEA?CA19-9?CA12-5?CA24-2 increase with the progress of TNM staging. There were statistically significant differences in the expression levels of CEA and ca19-9 in different stages. The results of generalized linear Logistic regression model showed that: CEA positive(OR=1.281,95% CI: 0.836~1.762),Ca19-9 positive(OR=1.096,95% CI: 0.474~1.525),CEA,)High expression of CA19-9 are the risk factors for clinical progression of colorectal cancer.Combined detection of different combinations of serum tumor markers suggested that the difference in positive expression in different TNM stages was statistically significant, and the number of positive expression types of preoperative tumor markers in patients with colorectal cancer was positively correlated with their TNM stages.Conclusion:(1)The correlation between the positive rate and expression level of serum CEA and ca19-9 tumor markers and TNM staging of colorectal cancer was statistically significant.(2)The positive rates of ca12-5,ca72-4 and ca24-2 expression were significantly correlated with TNM staging of colorectal cancer(3)The positive expression of preoperative tumor markers in patients with colorectal cancer was positively correlated with TNM stage.(4)The positive expression of serum CEA and ca19-9 can be used as risk factors to evaluate the progress of tumor stages. The high expression of CEA and ca19-9 often indicates a high possibility of disease progression to middle and late stage.Individualized auxiliary diagnosis and treatment schemes can be developed by combining imaging diagnosis and postoperative pathological parameters to provide more references and choices for clinical diagnosis and treatment activities.
