Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics of lead poisoning in children aged 0-6 years in a hospital of Guangxi is to provide scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of lead poisoning in children.Methods:?1?The clinical data of 32 children with lead poisoning from a hospital of Guangxi during 2010 to 2018 were collected and analyzed by using the Longitudinal Digital Medical Record Retrieval System.?2?All cases were divided into infant group, young children group and preschool group according to different age.The data of the blood lead level, liver function, kidney function and other indicators in different groups?before and after treatment?were analyzed by using ANOVA analysis with SPSS 22.0.?3?The risk factors of 32 children with lead poisoning were analyzed.Result:The average blood lead concentration of 32 children was?357.3±97.6??g/L,71.9%?23 cases?showed hyperactivity, irritability, poor appetite, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation.Red blood cell parameters of all the children had decreased. The level of hemoglobin concentration, mean red blood cell volume, mean red blood cell hemoglobin concentration, hematocrit decreased to a different extent. In the infant group?0 to 1 year old?,the hemoglobin of the young children group?1 to 3 years old?and the preschool group?3 to 6 years old?was significantly lower?P<0.05?;the HCT of the infant group was lower than that of the young children group, the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?;21.9%?7 cases?with renal dysfunction were accompanied by the urine?2-microglobulin increasing. After intravenous administration of sodium edetate?CaNa2-EDTA?injection?body weight 25mg/kg/d?for 1 to 2 courses of treatment, the blood lead level of the children was significantly reduced?169.0±66.2??g/L,it was statistical significance?P<0.05?;40.6%?13 cases?still had abnormal neurological manifestations;hemoglobin concentration was significantly higher than before treatment?P<0.05?,and returned to normal level.MCV,MCH,HCT was elevated, but was still below normal levels;the digestive symptoms of 37.5%?12 cases?of children disappeared;the urinary?2-microglobulin of 21.9%?7 cases?of children decreased to normal levels. The high risk factors of lead poisoning in children in this groupmainly included the use of traditional Chinese medicines such as chancre powder, and bad habits, living near industrial areas, electronic waste stations nearby, family members engaging in occupations with lead exposure, water pollution and so on.Conclusion:?1?Lead poisoning may lead to nervous system damage in children with behavioral changes to some degrees, and the short-term improvement after treatment is not good.?2?Lead poisoning may lead to the reduction of erythrocyte parameters in children,HGB will rise and up to normal level in the short-term after CaNa2-EDTA treatment, the level of MCH,MCV and HCT will rise, but will be still lower than normal level.?3?Lead poisoning can lead to digestive symptoms in children, and the symptoms are improved after CaNa2-EDTA treatment.?4?Lead poisoning may increase urinary?2-microglobulin as the manifestation of renal function damage in children, after CaNa2-EDTA treatment, renal function can be restored to normal.
