Research On Journal Of Chinese Acupuncturology During The Republic Of China

During the period of the Republic of China,Western learning spread to the East.The establishment of acupuncture journal is one of the important ways for Chinese acupuncturists to take timely communication and learn the beneficial parts of western medicine.They would like to share academic experience and popularize the medical knowledge of acupuncture,as well as to seek the survival and development of the acupuncture industry.This paper takes the acupuncture journal Chinese Acupuncturology as the research object,including three chapters to systematically analyze.The first chapter sorts out the source and cause of the journal.The outline of the journal history is presented by seven aspects.These seven aspects include "the background" "the overview" "the origin and purpose" "the journal groups" "the Chinese Acupuncture Association" "the column design and analysis" and"the publication process".The second chapter systematically analyzes the content of the journal.In this journal,there are a total of 112 articles which are divided into five categories as "the critical articles" "the publications" "the medical translations" "the academic discussion"and“the information platform".Furthermore,the "academic discussion" is divided into two parts as the "heory elaboration"and the "clinical practice".And then "the theoretical elaboration" is subdivided into three types as" the traditional" "the new and innovative" and"the general".Also the"clinical practice"is subdivided into"clinical experience" "experience inheritance" and"medical case".Meanwhile,the "information platform"category is divided into "medical advertising" "acupuncture news" and "communication and interaction".So the classification is carried out in order and in details to present the important value of the journal.The third chapter discusses the contribution and influence of the journal.Based on the research of the content,the timeliness and the platform of the journal,this paper will discuss the contribution that the journal has made to the academic experience sharing and research during the Republic of China,and analyze the impacts on how to expand and guide the development of acupuncture.
