Background:Infant wheezing is a group of common respiratory diseases in children around the world. The study showed that the incidence of wheezing disease in infants and young children is increasing year by year, which is one of the important causes of frequent illness and hospitalization in infants and young children.Respiratory bronchitis is a important type of wheezing disease in infants and young children. It is closely related to respiratory virus infectionand often occurs repeatedly due to respiratory infections.More than half of the wheezing attacks do not completely stop until the early school year, but some children with asthmatic bronchitis still eventually develop into asthma. The causes of asthmatic bronchitis are mainly related to infection, airway anatomy characteristics of infants and young children and their own allergies.Clinically, asthmatic bronchitis is often secondary to upper respiratory tract infection. Most of them have low fever, which can be accompanied by wheezing sounds and prolonged exhalation time.Auscultation of the lungs can hear thick and wet voices, and the symptoms of wheezing are less typical than asthma in children. After treatment,The symptoms of wheezing can be rapidly reduced within a few days, and most of them are relapsed due to reinfection. With the improvement of China's economic level and the rapid progress of urbanization and industrialization, the number of motor vehicles has increased rapidly. The widespread use of old energy sources such as oil and natural gas and the development and application of new energy sources have not been widely carried out.Air pollution and environmental pollution are still very serious, and smog weather frequently occurs in winter and spring. At the same time, the two-child policy has been fully opened up,and the number of newly born people has begun to increase. Therefore, some studies have shown that the overall control level of children's wheezing diseases in China is not ideal, and the incidence rate is increasing year by year.At the same time, foreign studies have also shown that the incidence of breathing diseases in children in other parts of the world has increased compared with the previous period. The repeated occurrence of wheezing diseases in infants and young children seriously endangers the physical and mental health of children and is not conducive to the healthy growth of children. If it can prevent the recurrence of wheezing diseases through early intervention and treatment,it can treat and control the occurrence and development of wheezing diseases.Reducing the possibility of developing into infant asthma has positive clinical significance and deserves our attention and research. Therefore,by studying the regulatory effect and influence of zinc preparations on the immune function of the body, whether zinc preparations can reduce or avoid the incidence of infant asthmatic bronchitis and prevent asthmatic bronchitis from developing into infant asthma. Therefore,it provides theoretical and clinical basis for the prevention and treatment of infant asthmatic bronchitis.OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of zinc on infantile asthmatic bronchitis and its effect on humoral immunity and cellular immunity function.METHODS:Children aged 6-3 years with asthmatic bronchitis admitted to Huaihe Hospitalof Henan University from September 2017 to December 2018 who meet the standards and children who undergo outpatient medical examinations during the same period were studied 78 cases of children with asthmatic bronchitis were randomly divided into asthma treatment group and asthma control group, each group of 39 cases, another choice of health examination infants 40 cases as normal medical examination group. Both groups of asthmatic patients were given symptomatic treatments such as routine antispasmodic,asthma,phlegm,anti-allergy and anti-allergy and corresponding anti-infection and/or antiviral treatments were given according to the infection.Zinc was given in the asthma treatment group, but not in the asthma control group. The blood samples of the children in the asthma treatment group and the asthma control group were collected before and after the treatment and the blood samples of the normal body inspection group. The levels of serum zinc, immunoglobulin IGA,IGG,IGM,and T-lymphocyte subgroups CD3 +,CD4 +,CD8 + and CD4/CD8 ratio levels, were compared in three groups of children. And the statistical analysis of the wheezing time, coughing time and hospitalization days after hospitalization in the asthma group and the asthma control group were performed.RESULTS:(1)There was no significant difference in the gender composition and age grouping between two groups, the age groups between the two groups and the breathing degree of the children in the two groups(P > 0.05).The gender composition between groups and the age grouping between groups and the degree of wheezing of the children in the group were the non-interfering factors of the experimental study group.(2)The wheezing, cough and hospitalization time of children in the asthma treatment group were 3.77 ± 0.87 D,5.10 ± 1.07 D,7.28 ± 1.61 D,and the wheezing, coughing and hospitalization time of 5.26 ± 1.37 D,6.69 ± 1.75,8.41 ± 1.89 in the asthma control group,The time of panting, coughing and hospitalization in the panting treatment group was significantly lower than that in the panting control group(P < 0.05).(3)The level of serum zinc in children in the normal was significantly higher than that of children in the two groups of children((P < 0.05),and the levels of immunoglobulin IGA,IGM,and IGG in children in the normal physical examination group were significantly higher than those in the two groups of children with pre-treatment asthmatic bronchitis((P < 0.05).The levels of CD3 +,CD4 + and CD4/CD8 of T lymphocyte subsets in children of the normal physical examination group was also significantly higher than those of two groups of children with pretreatment asthmatic bronchitis((P < 0.05),and the CD8 + level of P > 0.05,so there was had no significant correlation;(4)The level of serum zinc was in children in the asthma group after treatment with zinc significantly higher than that of the children in the asthma control group((P < 0.05).The levels of IGA,IGM,and IGG in children in the asthma group after treatment with zinc were significantly higher than those of the children in the asthma control group((P < 0.05).The levels of CD3 +,CD4 + and CD4/CD8 were significantly higher than that of children in the asthma control group((P < 0.05),and CD8+ level of P> 0.05,with no significant correlation;(5)The level of immunoglobulin IGM and the level of CD3 + in the T lymphocyte subgroup after treatment with zinc in children in the asthma treatment group was higher than that of normal children((P < 0.05).The serum zinc, immunoglobulin IGG levels,T lymphocyte subgroup CD4 + levels, and CD4/CD8 ratios of children treated with zinc were lower than those of normal patients((P < 0.05).Compared with children in the normal physical examination group, the levels of immunoglobulin IGA and T lymphocyte subsets CD8+ in the children in the asthma group after treatment with zinc were P>0.05,and there was no significant correlation.CONCLUSIONS:1.Zinc preparations have an auxiliary effect on the clinical treatment of asthmatic bronchitis, which can shorten the breathing time, cough time and hospital days of children with asthmatic bronchitis.2.Zinc preparations have a regulatory effect on the immune function of the body and can improve the humoral immunity and cell immune function of children with asthmatic bronchitis.
