Therapeutic Observation Of Lu-Shi Acupuncture Needle With Acupoint Catgut-embedding Therapy On The Cervical Spondylosis Of Neck Type

Objective:In this study,which is based on the professor's rich clinical experience about Lu-Shi acupuncture needle with acupoint catgut-embedding therapy against the cervical spondylosis of neck type over 20 years,and the clinical curative effective on the Lu-Shi needle with acupoint catgut embedding therapy?one-time acupuncture with acupoint catgut-embedding therapy and general acupuncture treatment against the cervical spondylosis of neck type was observed through randomized controlled trail.The comparison of the clinical effect among these three methods can be evaluated scientifically.It is not only can provide a prefer?simple?inexpensive and long-acting treatment trail for the early rehabilitation and an prefer treatment,but also can produce an reference for the clinical popularization and application of the Lu-Shi needle with acupoint catgut-embedding therapy in the future.Methods:86 cases have been selected according to the diagnostic code and with the cervical spondylosis of neck type.They were randomly divided into treatment group(Lu-Shi needle with acupoint catgut embedding therapy)?control group 1(one-time acupuncture with acupoint catgut-embedding treatment)and control group 2(general acupuncture),30 cases in every group.Via the visual analogue score(VAS),Neck Pain Questionnaire(NPQ)score and the score for the syndrome and sign,the curative effect of every patient was evaluated the pre-therapy and after,follow-up in the 2st month.Thus,curative effect with these three different methods against CS of neck type can be evaluated objectively,meanwhile,record the side-effects.Thus,a set of data can be calculated and analyze by the SPSS 20.0 software.Results:1.Baseline comparison: in the last,86 cases completed the whole treatment were analyzed by statistical comparison;before treatment,the comparison with gender?age?course?of diseases?the Visual Analogue Score(VAS),Northwick Park Questionnaire for neck pain(NPQ)?the score for the syndrome and sign without statistical significant among every group,it means that the baseline comparison of these three groups is balance,86 cases completed whole treatment cases can be compared.2.The Visual Analogue Score(VAS): the score of three groups after treatment dropped than before significantly(P<0.05).After treatment,The scores of VAS differencecomparison between treatment group and control group I?control group I and control group II both were statistical significantly(P<0.05),But there was no significant difference between the treatment group and control groupI(P>0.05).3.Northwick Park Questionnaire for neck pain: the comparison between the after and before treatment of three groups in terms of NPQ score have striking differences(P<0.05).The comparison between treatment group and control groupII?control group I and control group II both with statistical significantly(P<0.05).However,the comparison of NPQ score between the treatment group and control group I without significantly differences(P>0.05).4.The syndrome and sign: when the treatment of three groups were finished,there was significant difference in terms of the syndrome and sign?improvement of the degree in comparing with themselves(P<0.05),and between two of them(P<0.05).Meanwhile,as for the relief of the syndrome and sign the treatment group was superior to others(P<0.05),control group IIis lower than control group I(P<0.05).5.The clinical effectivity: after statistical analysis,the total clinical effectivity rate of three groups were 93.30%(treatment group)?82.75(control group I)?67.86%(control group II),and the comparison of the total clinical effectivity rate of three groups had statistically difference.Compared treatment group with control group Iand control group II,the statistical difference existed(P<0.05).As the result,it proved that,treatment group(Lu-Shi acupoint catgut embedding therapy)is the best,the second is control group I(one-time acupoint catgut-embedding therapy),the worse control group II(general acupuncture).Conclusion:These three treatment have curative therapeutic effect in the course of treatment against the cervical spondylosis of neck type,Lu-Shi acupoint catgut embedding therapy and general acupoint catgut-embedding therapy are superior than routine acupuncture therapy.In terms of relieve the neck pain of the cervical spondylosis,there were no significant differences between Lu-Shi acupoint catgut embedding therapy and general acupoint catgut-embedding therapy,however,as for the improvement of the total clinical syndrome and sign,Lu-Shi acupoint catgut embedding therapy had a remarkable superiority?long-acting?without recrudesce easily,and it can improve people's life quality,worthy of clinical promotion.
