| Objective: To observe the synergistic effect of Sang Ge Tea on the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with deficiency of both Qi and Yin on the basis of metformin hydrochloride and its improvement on TCM symptoms of patients with type 2diabetes mellitus. Methods: From August 2018 to January 2019,60 eligible patients were selected from the outpatient department of endocrinology,Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Both groups were given dietary regulation and exercise therapy. On this basis, the control group was given metformin hydrochloride tablets. The treatment group was given Sangge tea(twice a day)on the basis of the control group for 8 weeks.Observation indicators included fasting blood glucose(FPG),two-hour postprandial blood glucose(2HPBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c)and clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine before and after treatment.Graded efficacy indicators,as well as height, weight, blood pressure, blood cell analysis, renal function, liver function, electrolyte, electrocardiogram and other safety indicators. Finally, the indexes of each group were statistically processed, and their clinical efficacy and safety were analyzed.Result: 1.In the control group,1 case was excluded and 1 case was dropped out.In the treatment group,2 cases were withdrawn by themselves.A total of 56 cases were completed.2.There was no significant difference in the total scores of FBG,P2 h BG,Hb A1 c and TCM symptoms between the two groups before and after treatment(P > 0.05);after treatment,FBG and P2 h BG in the two groups were down-regulated,with significant difference(P < 0.05),and FBG and P2 h BG in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with significant difference(P < 0.05);there was no statistical difference between the two groups in glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c)before and after treatment.Learning significance(P > 0.05).3.There was no significant difference in the scores of TCM symptoms between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05),but there was significant difference in the scores of TCM symptoms between the two groups after treatment(P< 0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment, the effective rates of TCM between the two groups were 3.6% in the control group and 82.1% in the treatment group. The difference was significant between the two groups. There was statistical significance(p < 0.05).4.Before and after the experiment, the safety indicators of the two groups did not change significantly, and this study did not have adverse effects on the body. Conclusion:This research shows that Sangge tea combined with metformin hydrochloride tablets has a significant effect on type 2 diabetes with deficiency of both qi and yin.Sangge tea can enhance the hypoglycemic effect of metformin hydrochloride, and can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with traditional Chinese medicine, with good safety. The clinical effect is better than metformin hydrochloride tablets alone. |
