Objective:To construct a MOOC-based flipped classroom teaching scheme based on the existing MOOC-based flipped classroom teaching model, and incorporate the scheme into medical nursing,to approve its scientificity and effectiveness, thus to provide theoretical and practical reference to further development of the scheme.Methods:1.Construct a teaching scheme in medical nursing based on existing MOOC-based flipped classroom teaching model developed by the members of the subject group by Literature review and expert group discussion.2.The quantitative study of Mooc-based flipped classroom teaching model in medical nursing:Quasi-experimental method was used in this section.A total of 97 undergraduate nursing students from one nursing school were enrolled by purposive sampling, one experiment group(43 students)and one control group(54 students)are selected. In the Medical course, experiment group students took the course with MOOC-based flipped classroom teaching model while the control group had regular course for a total of 7 weeks. The assessment tools include students' final score, the score of Active Learning State and Learning Styles,etc.3.Students 'perspective of the Mooc-based flipped classroom teaching model in medical nursing:Phenomenological approach was used in this section.17 students in experiment group were enrolled by purposive sampling method to receive the semi-structured interviews,Colaizzi analysis and comparison method was used to analyze the data and extract the themes.Results:1.Construct a teaching scheme in medical nursing based on existing MOOC-based flipped classroom teaching model developed by the members of the subject group.2.The quantitative study of Mooc-based flipped classroom teaching model in medical nursing:No statistical difference was found between the two groups in final score before and after the flipped classroom; After the flipped classroom, the experiment group get higher score in the item of "deep learning",and there is no statistical difference in the distribution of the students' learning style in both groups;nearly 70% students are satisfied with the MOOC-based flipped classroom teaching model.3.Students 'perspective of the Mooc-based flipped classroom teaching model in medical nursing:Two themes are extracted,Gains and challenges.Gains include the form of autonomous learning habit, gain new learning experience, deepen the understanding and memory of knowledge, etc.Challenges include: increased study time, difficulties in key knowledge extraction, alteration of learning Method and lack of integrality in knowledge acquisition. Conclusion:The MOOC-based flipped classroom teaching scheme is feasible and effective, and it may improve the student's ability of autonomous learning and learning initiatives, etc.,however, the course content need to be further revised to assure its pertinence and systematicness;furthermore,to increase the students' adaptability to the new teaching model is nevertheless needed.
