Objective:Through the "flipped classroom" teaching model design and application of the Basic Nursing experiment teaching and compared with traditional teaching model. "flipped classroom" teaching mode is designed and applied in teaching method of basic nursing.it is compared with traditional teaching mode,With the changes in self-learning ability, theoretical knowledge and nursing skills mastery as an indicator to analyze the influence and characteristics of the "flipped classroom" teaching model for students’ Ability,to further validate their teaching effectiveness.Methods:10 classes of nursing undergraduates of a university from the years of 2012 were taken as research sample. Then use cluster sampling method to select six classes as the experimental group(n = 193), four classes as the control group(n = 129). In the process of basic nursing experimental teaching, traditional teaching mode and the “flipped classroom”teaching mode were used in the control group and the experimental group respectively. At the end of the course, examination and questionnaire survy were carried out in both groups and all the data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical methouds.Results:1.Before and after the experimental teaching, both groups in general self-efficacy and self-learning ability score analysis:There were no statistically significant differencebetween the two groups’ theoretical knowledge scores(P >0.05). But the operational capacity scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and there were statistically significantly different(P<0.05).2.group and control group of nursing students general self-efficacy and self-learning ability and the primary structure score was no significant difference(P>0.05). After the teaching intervention, the experimental group, generally scores of self-efficacy and self-learning ability and other primary structure scores are higher than control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After the teaching intervention, the experimental group, scores of self-efficacy and self-learning ability and other primary structure scores except for learning motivation are higher than previous teaching, and the difference was significant(P <0.05). After the teaching intervention,The control group, scores of self-directed learning ability and the“learning cooperation ability”are higher than previous teaching, and the difference was significant(P <0.05).3.There were no statistically significant difference between the two groups, scores of the theoretical knowledge(P>0.05).But the operational capacity scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and there were statistically significantly different(P<0.05).4.Most nursing students on the "flipped classroom" teaching model used in experimental teaching effect is satisfactory: teaching after completion of the investigation in the experimental group of nursing students teaching satisfaction, 95.9% of nursing students agreed that the "flipped classroom" experimental class class manner continuity explained this teaching of nursing students in general have a positive attitude.Conclusion:1. "Flipped classroom" teaching model helps to promote general self-efficacy and self-learning ability for nursing undergraduates.2. "Flipped classroom" teaching model helps to promote the operational capacity scores.3. "Flipped classroom" as a teaching mode for the course of basic nursing experiment teaching has satisfactory teaching effect.
